Opportunity cost. Why not? Other than what Jerry explained.
I wonder if they will break their own record for the lowest rated college basketball games ever on network television.the big east has 5 hours of coverage today on fox

Why be hostile? He said the gym was nice looking.Didn't the defending national champs just play in front of 3,500 strong at Houston?

Hard to believe this is the same Houston team that sold out the Astrodome in 1968 for a game vs UCLA (Elvin Hayes vs Lou Alcindor).Didn't the defending national champs just play in front of 3,500 strong at Houston?
57 WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: BIG 12: Oklahoma at Texas Thu 7:00PM- 9:32PM 0.0 61,000

Wait a minute, ZLS. You can't expect a Pee Cee men's BB game to compete with a game where Okie U's Sherri Coale is getting some significant camera time. You're being unfair, here. Sherri has always been a babe, and now she's a cougar babe. Nobody should be ridiculed for getting smoked in the TV ratings by her.
You do realize that you are comparing prime time on a major sports network to a weather induced reschedule on a Thursday afternoon, right?
Why don't we compare crowd size at the BE tourney vs the AAC tourney this year?

Not everyone can be scholarly enough to attend a State school

What state school are you referring to? Check the numbers. UCONN is tougher to get into than PC.
My buddy couldn't get in to UConn and ended up at PC. Why would anyone want to go there ? I guess the best you can say is that the Dominicans aren't as insufferable as the Jesuits.
The future for the former "Storrs Agricultural college" is still a hell of a lot better than that of a tiny Catholic college these days.Storrs Agricultural College seems like a perfect fit with the Memphis's, Cincinnati's and Houston's of the world. I feel sorry for Tulane actually.
Good restaurants??

I'll disagree. Only one institution accepts GEDs. I'll give you a guess which one.
Congrats on getting your GED! Way to hang in there, we knew you could do it.I'll disagree. Only one institution accepts GEDs. I'll give you a guess which one.
The public institution is ranked #59 in U.S. World & News. The small Catholic college (not University) isn't in the top 100.I'll disagree. Only one institution accepts GEDs. I'll give you a guess which one.
And the small Catholic college has received???
you cant just disagree with an objective fact.
