MSU on 11-0 run With Hebard on bench, McCowan has no resistance 21 pts 10 rebounds in 1st Half. Defense is really good.
 
Right now, MSU is quicker, longer, and making fewer weak turnovers. OU could be considered lucky to be behind by only a dozen or so...
 
McCowan is 10-11 from the floor for 21 points w/ 9 rebs just before halftime. She killed UW in the Tourney last year.
 
McCowan is a near-perfect 10-11 from the field plus 10 rebounds. Oh and a free throw.

Yup, it looks like the Ducks have no clue on how to deal with her.
 
Oregon pulled to within one point at 32-31 but then Sabally had a bad live turnover that gave the momentum back to Mississippi State, and UO has been reeling ever since.

Hebard played great when she was in, but picked up two cheap fouls defending on the perimeter and had to sit. Oregon must have her on the floor to have a chance against McCowan.

She’s only a junior and she’s really improved from year to year. By her senior year she’ll certainly be a draft prospect, perhaps a 1st rounder.

Only perhaps? I've been entertaining her as a high first rounder if she were declare early, which she could do.
 
Ducks need to step it up if they are to have a decent chance. Defense is weak, not even slowing MSU, let alone getting stops.

Oregon looks slow. MS St is taking them off the dribble with ease.
 
If Vivians keeps playing at an AA level , MSU will be in the final 4.
 
Turning into a rout.

I was a little skeptical of Miss st - they were a very defense oriented team last year and they lost some key defensive players to grad. But their offense is humming.

Vivians is a great stone face when she plays...but on the on-one assist just now she cracked a sliver of a smile.

They certainly look like they’ve got all the pieces to get back to the FF in Columbus.
 
That can is sitting on the dresser.. not quite ready to be opened up yet...... but it is sitting on the dresser :cool:

She got lots of good passes, but she is really quick at her height.
