What happens when people with big buyouts and dismal performance don't want to be reasonable and over play their hand ... simple rule of contracts... if you want to live by exacting terms be prepared to die by them as wellI think the proper term is savage.
Bittersweet feeling today. Not a celebratory moment, but definitely a breath of fresh air and optimismMan I am really torn on this. Love that Kevin bleeds blue. Hate seeing the word "fired" after his name. Really wish they could have separated ways.
Spill the beans! He’s no longer the coach lol
I respect that. Keep your honor mauNot happening sorry too close to the person and I respect all involved. It's not awful but could be an out depending. Now I'm through.

I honestly thought i was seeing things on ESPN.
YESSSSSSS!!!!!
I have to agree with Mau here. Begin the process of firing with just cause is not a good look.Wow if I'm another coach how happy would I be if they are trying to find a way for "just cause" on a guy who player here and won a national championship? Red flag
I don't think the YESSS's are appropriate but whatever, it's over.
Everyone talks about the job he did the year they won the championship - and deservedly so - but I don’t think he gets enough credit for his first season as a coach. Keeping the team together and motivated in such rocky circumstances was almost as impressive as the NC tourney run. What a rollercoaster of emotions right now. I am excited, relieved, and most importantly, very sad. Never in a million years did I want it to end this way. For the love of the program, if you have time today go back and listen to KOs introductory press conference. It was fantastic. It will be how I forever remember KO.
