For me, the best part of this compilation was early on, Olivia blocks a shot and gains possession of the ball (too many times players go for the loud block and knock it three rows deep, I'm too young to have watched Bill Russell, but I'm told he was very skilled at keeping the blocks in play to gain possession). Right away she is looking down the court for a teammate streaking towards the basket, but she has the maturity to not make an ill-advised pass when it wasn't there. That's high basketball IQ right there.

This isn't a surprise. Blue Star Basketball was founded by Mike Flynn in 1976. The Philadelphia Belles AAU basketball club was founded by Flynn in 1978. The Belles transitioned and evolved into the now Philly Rise summer circuit team. Vukosa has been the top player for the Philly Rise for the last 2-3 years. It's not that Vukosa does or doesn't deserve the ranking but the bias is fairly obvious. Rankings mean little to me so I'm glad UConn got Vukosa.
