Exciting potential matchups at first glance:

SC Regional:

Iowa-Iowa State in the Sweet 16. Interstate rival game, Iowa won last year, Iowa State won this year. Clark vs. Joens. Should be a really fun game to watch if both advance.

Iowa-SC in the Elite 8. The two heavy favorites for NPOY will battle it out if they meet.

Louisville Regional:
Tennessee-Oregon in the 2nd Round. Tennessee is struggling but still showing some fight/grit. Oregon has been so hot and cold this year. Guessing it'll be a tight game.

Baylor-Ole Miss in the 2nd Round. I could see Ole Miss giving Baylor some trouble if Egbo gets into foul trouble. Also 2 very good forwards going head to head in Austin/Smith.

Baylor-Michigan in the Sweet 16. They had an epic battle in last year's Sweet 16, they're lined up for a rematch in this one.

Louisvlile-Baylor in the Elite 8. Both were in contention for last #1 seed and I think it'll be a good battle.

Stanford Regional:
Maryland-Virginia Tech in 2nd Round. Maryland has been very streaky this year, Va Tech hasn't pulled off any big upsets this year but has played good teams tough. I could see Va Tech pulling the upset.

LSU-Ohio State in the 2nd Round. Both teams have sensational backcourts, I think it'll be a hotly contested game.

LSU-Texas in Sweet 16. Kim vs. Vic at their new schools. Both teams have greatly overachieved relative to the amount of talent on their roster.

NC State Regional:
Notre Dame-Oklahoma in the 2nd Round. Both teams have been trending down as of late, one will likely make their way to the Sweet 16. Both have strong backcourts and shooters.

Indiana-Kentucky in the 2nd Round. Probably the most intriguing potential 2nd round matchup. Indiana blew out Kentucky the first game but Kentucky is red hot and playing very good basketball.

UCONN-NC State in the Elite 8. NC State is a tough matchup for UCONN IMO since they're just solid at every position even though I wouldn't consider them elite at any spot. Should they meet, UCONN will be playing in front of a huge home crowd which gives them a boost, and everyone appears to be healthy just in time for the NCAAs. I could see this being a phenomenal game.
If you are referring to the hostess of the show, that is just one of many mistakes she made, including never mentioning who she was, at the beginning of the broadcast. At the end of the show it hit me that they never even showed a close up of her like they did the 3 "experts." I finally went back to try to figure out who this embarrassment to ESPN WCB was. Her name was never mentioned-good job ESPN. It was listed at the bottom of the screen at the beginning-Elle Duncan-I gotta tell you I have never heard of her and will be just fine if I never hear her again. BRUTAL .
The insight provided by the panel was of far lesser quality than you would learn by spending a day on The Boneyard. Poor Rebecca. She has either been told to not comment on UCONN or is afraid to.
I heard her say her name as she introduced everyone else

People overlooking UCF here. They lost three games all year, all by single digits, two of them to Tennessee and Iowa. They are incredibly physical and great on the boards. UConn will have to grind that one out.

Also think no team has a potentially tougher path to the title: UCF, Kentucky/Indiana, NC State, Stanford, SC.

As a UCF fan I am disappointed that we got sent to UCONN. Just feels like a poor draw. I personally live near Houston so selfishly was hoping we'd get sent to one of the schools out here. Hopefully we can shutdown Florida and see what happens though.

You're right, brain fart here. An hour and twenty minutes away, so still very close to home.

And every top 4 seed hosts the first 2 rounds. After that, you travel to a predetermined regional site. UCONN's regional location is in Bridgeport which gives them a home atmosphere until the Final Four.
Have you ever driven CT highways? An hour and 20 minute drive takes forever. I'd pack an overnight bag.:D

.-.
Is that near a Metro North station? Driving to the arena In Bridgeport is
Nan the Trumbull Marriott is off the Merritt Pkwy and you'll have to find a way to get to I-95 south which isnt bad. A short trip. In the past teams stayed in Stamford and Trumbull Marriotts.

We had a chance to make a case for Greensboro in that opening game and had the door shut pretty quickly with that loss.
It didn't come down to just that one game. The losses to Georgia and Notre Dame also hurt the cause. If the SC game had been the only one NC State lost, they'd probably be in Greensboro.
