Thomas got overthrown on his "find the deep ball" drill I saw but had a nice gauntlet just now
 
On the standard go route throw in the QB workouts Thomas had a nice route and catch from Trubiski

Wow. Not good news for NT. 40 times like that for a WR of his size are the type of numbers that can take you off a draft board. I'm surprised to see this sort of performance--feel bad for the guy, he works so hard. In any case, I hope that he can have a good career somewhere, he just may have to be a UDFA or 7th round pick
 
I have always thought NT was a nice little college player for Uconn,but lets face it,he never had great break away speed.Proof is in the pudding. No speed equals no NFL. His strength was a real eye opener with only 9 reps lifting 225 pounds. Very disappointing.
 
Almost wish he was injured or something.

All three 40, broad and vertical all show a lack of explosion.
 
Apparently NT wasn't a work out warrior. That means a lot to NFL teams.

He has really good hands. If his route running shows well on tape, he will get a shot in somebody's camp.

That was pure opinion on my part, based on his results. But his numbers speak volumes. I was hoping for more out of him.
 
The numbers pretty much assure he won't be drafted. Really surprised he tested so poorly. I still believe he is an NFL player though. He needs to save a few tenths off his 40 at pro day.

Definitely right about this @huskysupporter ...he needed to be at or below a 4.55 minimum. A 4.4-4.5 40 and 15+ reps in the bench would have soldified him going in the draft.

If Defensive ends are out running wide receivers in the 40, NT has got a problem on his hands. The NFL is all about speed.
