Noel is a move the chains type of WR. He will go in the first 3 rounds.

I can only imagine what he will be like, being the 3rd WR on a team, in terms of coverage.

His acrobatic catches are going to be missed.

2017 NFL Draft Prospects: Safeties WalterFootball.com: 2017 NFL Draft: Safety Rankings

6. Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
Height: 6-3. Weight: 217.
Projected 40 Time: 4.53.
Projected Round (2017): 1-3.
12/10/16: Every year, there are some size/speed freaks who rise up draft boards, and Melifonwu will be one of those prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft. Melifonwu has great size and also is a fast defender. The senior totaled 118 tackles with three passes broken up and four interceptions in 2016. As a junior in 2015, he had 88 tackles with two interceptions and five passes broken up. Sources say that Melifonwu needs development, and thus, they have him graded later on Day 3; however, they think the team that likes Melifonwu enough to draft him could do so in the mid-rounds.

His Mom Tina and brother Michael always supported him as a player but were more interested in talking about his character and academics. He's close to a 4.0 student! Very impressive family. Like Byron Jones, I feel Obi will make Husky nation extremely proud at the combine--and beyond.

If Thomas isn't taken by the 4th round, I could see the Pats taking him.

I love how he keeps the ball high and tight when running with it, I hate seeing NFL receivers palm the ball.

I love him, great team guy, great hands and secures the catch better than most. I don't think he is gonna get the shine that we think he deserves, I see him being taken somewhere in the late 3rd-early 5th round. hes a star in waiting.

One of those guys who probably won't get a ton of headlines as he's not really a burner, but could be in the league for awhile because coaches appreciate the overall package. I'm thnking Jerricho Cotchery.

Well deserved by both. Noel will need a sub 4.5 in order to get drafted. I think Obi goes between rounds 3 - 6, but I think he will be a star in the League.

With a good combine, Obi will go in Round 1 or early to mid Round 2. No later.

IMO, he will be very impressive in the combine and his stick will continue rising.

He's already rising fast, they talk about him on NFL Radio quite bit, and he will continue to do so.

I think noel gets picked up towards the end of the draft prob 5-7, his ball catching skills are fantastic and that will be shown at the combine. Obi on the other hand i think goes no later than the end of the second, he is poised to have a Byron Jones type combine and we all saw how that worked out. its all dependent on which team picks them up and how they are utilized but i think both have long careers ahead of them.

I am more bullish on Noel then others. He was only threat on O and defenses knew it. Despite that he had great year. Teams will watch film and see this. Think he is going to be a solid pro.
