OK. Just to say this first: She needs to make that move without the bounce.

What make's her ceiling scary is that she is also extremely quick. Reminds me a bit of the Dr.

OMG! A “needs” post. Good grief! She used what is commonly know as a power dribble. I think I figured it out. When poster said “needs” what the are actually saying is “I want her/him to do…

Remove the facial hair and ... voila!

As a budding freshman her upper body reminds me of Gabby's. I'd be more than happy if she has GW's career. I'd be ecstatic if she has some consistency from the perimeter.

she's a woman among girls..........her athleticism will serve her well at the next level but I'd really like to see perfect her mid range game because that's what will make her great......

She's got, at times, really nice form on her jumper and foul shots. Geno mentioned that last week. It's all about repetition and getting it into repeatable form now.

BTW: Kamorea said that she would be going public with her verbal on Monday at 2:45...presumably that is at the end of the school day. Being from Wisconsin I am assuming she means local time. That would put her announcement at 3:45 our time. I hope our techie experts can get her info and post it here pretty pronto after that time.

I tell you: we have seen some tape of her playing. Being highlights her shots always go in...no surprise there.
But what I saw was a very quick/very smooth/very polished game. My bet is she wold earn regular rotation time as a frosh...backing up senior Paige at point and playing alongside her as well...and then taking over as lead guard in her soph year in Storrs. We need at least one guard from 2023 or from the transfer portal...she would fit beautifully whether we are lucky to get another guard or not.

11/20

Ayanna Patterson: 24 points ( 7-14 FG, 10-15 FT ), 10 Rebounds

Ashlynn Shade: 25 points ( 10-16 FG, 4-7 3-PT, 1-2 FT ). 3 assists

This game wasn't close. Homestead couldn't handle Nobelsville's press or get set up offensively. Much of Patterson's damage was done late.

Shade is really relentless on defense. She’s going to be super solid. Patterson was pretty much a one man team in this game. She did all she could but Shade was surrounded by much more help.
