Neighbors liked it...I'm guessing Arky

She has visited Arkansas the most. I guess the wild card is Ole Miss, she likes Coach Yo a lot I heard.

Our assistant coach liked it too, would take it with a grain of salt. Arkansas seems like the favorite but you never know I guess.

Good get by Neighbors, I think his first big recruiting win in terms of high schoolers. He picked up Dungee in the transfer market

I'm sure you've been wanting to use that gif, but gotta give Fargas some credit for the two recruits she has landed recently.
I agree this is a step in the right direction. Eaton is a good compliment to a high level player such as Dungee. To maintain their upper trajectory they had to get the best instate players such Eaton, especially after losing S Goforth to OSU.
The instate class for 2021 is very good. He needs to keep J Wolfenberger and the post player (her name escapes me) home.

The Juco grab is a great get, very talented young lady. Thompson will give us depth at post with Mitchell leaving. I still think our recruiting needs to improve though for us to compete at the highest level. Our current class is okay but not great. Last years was very good though. Issue is you got to string together multiple good classes in a row to really build on it. Hopefully we can add another good recruit to round out this class. We mainly need some good shooters who can stretch the perimeter for us.

In all seriousness I'm not mad we missed out on Eaton, disappointed sure as I wanted her but you can't win them all. More disappointed with the local product choosing Tulane over us. Good get for Arkansas.

You guys also lost out on an under the radar Erica Lafayette from Baton Rouge(You guys offered her), who is coached by Temeka Johnson. Erica committed to Rutgers earlier this month.

I saw we offered her but not sure what happened. Has Coach Vivians recruited LA much over the years? Not use to seeing her getting a prospect all the way down here lol

Well, we have been getting players from the south a lot. We have 3 players from Alabama on our roster. In the past, we have gotten players from Mississippi and Georgia. Though, I don't remember us getting a player from LA before.

Caitlin Jenkins is from Shreveport. She went elsewhere to another school before Rutgers I think.

It's probably just PTSD from South Carolina not being able to slow down Dungee at all, but I think Arkansas is going to be a problem going forward.

Is Arkansas recruiting Destiny Salary? Top 100 4 star guard. Saw she visited Missouri. Figured they would consider her since she is a local product.

I think her finalists are Rutgers, Western Kentucky, TCU, Tennessee, and Missouri.

I also believe Arkansas is full.

Arkansas offered Salary a long time ago, but they did not make her a top priority. Same with Coriah Beck. Goforth and Eaton were 1a and 1b in terms of in-state guards. I would not be surprised if Salary ends up at Tennessee. Beck has already committed to Memphis.

The 2021 instate post for Arkansas is Maryam Dauda - she's 6'5", super long (if that's not redundant with being 6'5"), and absolutely blew up this past summer. Arkansas has had her on campus a few times, so there is strong interest on their part. I am not sure how the Hogs stack up with her, however. Arkansas has also offered (and is making a concerted effort with) 2022 post Amauri Williams out of North Little Rock.

Also, I think it's correct that Arkansas's biggest competition for Eaton at the end was Ole Miss. Eaton really does like Coach Yo, personally, it seems. (Not hard to see why.) However, her skill set and game are a fantastic fit for what Neighbors is looking for - a much better fit stylistically than what Coach Yo's teams do, imo. Fargas's offense is not run and gun enough, so I didn't really ever think that LSU was a super strong candidate for her commitment (though obviously, she thought highly enough of the program and staff to make them a finalist).

I agree wholeheartedly. Mike Neighbors runs a spread 'em out, shoot the three offense that's difficult to defend.

Jewel Spear committed to Wake Forest, I believe that leaves 19 uncommitted players on the espnW top-100.

Someone correct my if I’m wrong please. They’re a little behind, but I think 19 is correct.

They’ve missed Edwards, Sakima Walker, Gabrielle Elliott, Kaitlyn Chen, and Alexis Whitfield.

Yep! Can’t wait for them to commit! Haha

Too bad the Baylor Football game was on Thursday night. (They did win however to stay undefeated)

Andrews and Hailey Van Lith?

Doesn't this violate the prohibition on coaches commenting on recruits before they signed LOI's? Or is she covered by the fact that she did not name names?
