Ask Kara where did she play again?
Think I'd better log off for the day 😣

I don't care. Tennessee hasn't truly been a top program for 20 years. Not only can current recruits not remember that time, they weren't even born yet. That was before Caldwell.
Didn't Tennessee finish in top 15 last year?I don't care. Tennessee hasn't truly been a top program for 20 years. Not only can current recruits not remember that time, they weren't even born yet.
Latson and Okot coming in this year from the portal. Watson coming back next year. Recruiting ain't over yet. Neither is SC.It's the end of the road for the Gamecocks I'm afraid.
No they aren’t. I expect if they have a down class they’ll hit portal super hard but obviously 27 will be a much bigger point of emphasis. It's the end of the road for the Gamecocks I'm afraid.
I wonder if recruits are attracted to the style of play for TN or if they have good NIL. At least you'll know you will play a lot. TN is interesting, they are getting a lot of big-time recruits/transfers. I wonder how prepared her players will be for the pro's. Or if that style of play will be good for player retention.
And? TCU, Duke, Oklahoma, Kansas St. and North Carolina finished ahead of them. Would you call those top programs?Didn't Tennessee finish in top 15 last year?
I think since hiring Caldwell. Tennessee has a lot of momentum. Both in recruiting the portal and high school levels. To finish in top fifteen in year. one. I think Tennessee is very close to being a final four team. The roster this year is stacked. Adding Edwards and others looks good for next year's roster. And? Yes, NIL is definitely a factor (not the only factor). Funds increased significantly when Caldwell was hired. It could be. But, in this style of constant subs, can a Tennessee player get sufficient minutes to average enough points to earn All-American honors? Maybe it doesn't matter to some, but it's worth watching.
I do think Tennessee's NIL has increased quite a bit. I think Edwards is an example of that. Maybe we'll hear the $$$ amount eventually.
Maybe. But Tennessee fans have been thinking "this is the year we're back" for a very long time. I'll wait until it actually happens.I think since hiring Caldwell. Tennessee has a lot of momentum. Huge 4 yrs ago is nothing compared to huge now. They have enough to pay multiple players what they were paying Rickea as do many schools. No doubt. I believe Rickea Jackson got a huge NIL deal to transfer to Tennessee and that was still under Kelly.
I think the fact Tennessee beat UCONN last season with this new coach after failing to after so many seasons with Harper made a huge difference for recruits when they view that program now . It showed they are for real and they beat the Defending national champions playing that style of play that most say wouldn't be successful .
Interesting. Assumed they've been participating from the beginning.I believe the Adidas money starts flowing in, in 2026.
They are switching from being a Nike school to Addas school. Candace Parker is a VP for Adidas.Interesting. Assumed they've been participating from the beginning.
They just signed a new deal , so I think that is the money what the poster is referring to.Interesting. Assumed they've been participating from the beginning.

Thanks for clarifying. I misunderstood the post. They just signed a new deal , so I think that is the money what the poster is referring to.
Interesting that TN was adidas when Candace was there, most likely why she signed with them. Then they jump to Nike, and now back to adidas. They are switching from being a Nike school to Addas school. Candace Parker is a VP for Adidas.
Considering Candace Parker is a VP at Adidas now, this makes a lot of sense now when I think of this connection.Interesting that TN was adidas when Candace was there, most likely why she signed with them. Then they jump to Nike, and now back to adidas.

I don't think Tennessee is done yet. Question is who will join Edward's.
They are the clear favorite for Trinity jones and could pull off abiiI don't think Tennessee is done yet. Question is who will join Edward's.

Help me out here, please. I keep hearing those UCLA/ND visits were OV's, but I can't see anything official about OV's having moved up further than junior year just after the NCAA championship game. Did I miss the OV period being moved up (I know you can now go to more than five schools, but can't find anything about change in timing.)It should not be long now for Abii to make a decision. Official visit to UCLA and Notre Dame last February/March. Official visits to Tennessee two weeks ago; official visit to LSU ended today. Final official visit to home-state Texas this coming weekend.
