If she RS at Louisville won't she lose a year of eligibility after sitting out a year after transferring? I don't think you can RS two years unless you have a really compelling reason. Anyway sounds like Pacific is adding some talent, might challenge Gonzaga for WCC supremacy.

Wonder if we see a de-commit from Ramani Parker (also from California)?

I’m very curious as to how this will affect the decisions of Maori Davenport/ Laeticia Amihere. By Louisville and Mississippi State both losing 5 star posts does it Davenport more likely to commit to one of those two?

I’m not sure how that works, but they will certainly challenge Gonzaga with two highly ranked players. Will be interesting to see if this helps their recruiting over the next few years

another highly ranked Louisville player falls under Jeff W's spell only to be disappointed as he brings in more players without even giving her a chance to prove herself on the court..........

I agree. He is definitely going very hard after Davenport and Amihere, which probably isn’t very reassuring from Kakala’s view. We may never know what actually happened except that this trend at Louisville is continuing.

how do you know the reason for her departure?

I don't know for sure but historically players transfer from Louisville when they simply don't see a future there................it would be interesting to hear from our Louisville friends about this..........

She almost certainly wanted to be home if she chose UOP which is only about fifteen minutes from Manteca. And I don't know about Louisville, but Stockton is one of the most unappealing places in California. Pacific is nice and the general area around it is also nice but once you're out of that loop, it's really bad.

Raoul’s personal war against Louisville continues.

On the heels of the news of Kakala’s transfer to Pacific, Raoul tweets “Louisville WBB signed 18 players in the 2014 through 2017 recruiting classes; 9 transferred out.”

Lol. Yikes. I can’t wait for Walz’s response.

Sort of a Charming kind of place to be sure.

I'll bet he doesn't bite.

different?.....can you name another school that has had half of it's recruits in the past three years transfer?
You said that the reason for her departure was "playing time", as if that was a unique reason that only happens at Lou.

And as for transfers:
2014: 2/4 = Ekmark & Edwards
2015: 1/3 = Boykin
2016: 0/3
2017: 1/4 = AEH

4 of 14 (28%)

I think Ole Miss lost about half its team. Coaching change, so circumstances were different. Either way transfers seem to be the new reality in WBB

I hope you'd agree there's a significant difference between 50% and 28%.........and that's over four years not three................it's really 20%
