If BC is closer to NYC than Syracuse, does that make BC the ACC's New York team?

Rutgers had it down to 20 with about two minutes to go against Purdue last night, lol.
In the first half they made a nifty little run and we're down only by a point, 20 to 19.

Then things went Rutgers....

I wonder if these guys know that Notre Dame is locked into the ACC GoR for all its non-football sports?
Don't forget, they like to burn couches there. Probably sit on them afterwards.

Notre Dame has 3 options. Status quo with the ACC, full membership in the ACC, or join the Big 10 as a full member. Big 12 is not an option as Notre Dame's most played school in the Big 12 would rank as the 39th most played opponent, and Big 12 schools, in total, have played Notre Dame 37 times. And, the ACC is a much better fit for their non-football sports than the Big 12. Throw in that Notre Dame is guaranteed a spot in the playoff if they finish in the top 12 starting next year and why would they leave the ACC over being excluded this year?

What if they can convince the B1G for an annual 5 game series for football.... and to take all other sports? Now the B1G can date the girl they want.

Seems like ND might make that call to the B1G and let them ponder it. And just because its rejected initially, doesn't mean it might not marinate over time in the coming years.

I figure the B1G would turn that down rather quickly. They don't need the risk and instability, especially considering their biggest schools have standing arrangements to play ND pretty frequently anyhow. They also wouldn't control the media rights of ~half of those 5 games, ND and NBC would.
