I emailed him to edit and retract. He edited, but no retraction. I wish I had screenshotted the stupid article. At least the google alert from the the draft still shows the Rob Reinhart stupidity.

Aaron Torres thinks that UConn will eventually land in the Big 12. Starts at around 47:00.


I agree. “Jointly” is key. I think it basically comes down to what happens with FSU and Clemson, and once they leave, I think Yormark will have the go ahead to take UConn with ACC schools. Rule #1 be damned.

It is important to remember that some of the programs that seem to be really rich have already spent every nickel of revenue that comes in the door, before they get to paying the players.

my apologies but I think ACC will survive and thrive, especially with UConn as a member
I think it will survive, but cease as a power conference for football. If the agreed GoR end date is 2030, any school that can jump to the Big10/SEC will jump. Basketball may be different, but if the increased payout is mostly for football viewership, many of the ACC will struggle with their income.
