Good win by Fla St....helps our rpi a little.

The Florida State / Uconn game was ironic in so many ways.

FSU had that game won. But uconn wouldn't let themselves lose. Boatright has to make 3 free throws, which is pretty impressive considering it was his first game back, and he does. Then, uconn guts out (imagine that now) an OT win against a good team.

Not that luck was involved, but you could say that FSU was unlucky not to win.

Since that game, FSU has won 3 (!) games with buzzer beaters (Duke, VT, UVA). They could've easily lost all 3, yet they somehow managed to win. They would be 17-12 (ugh) if they had lost those games.

Uconn, after outwilling FSU in that OT, has not won any close games, nor many games, since.

Strange season indeed.

I don't give a s*** what's happened to date - just do what you gotta do to get into the tournament and then see what happens from there. Back in, win their way in, cheat their way in...don't care. Get there.

However, I can't believe we're in the position of having to spend February 29th rooting against Colorado State.

this is the first thing I agree with you about Fish lol. I dont care if we are a sixteen seed just get into the damn tournament. I want to be out west with Duke as the number 1 seed or Kentucky so we can smack them down like we always have, and ruin all the ad money that they would have generated for the NCAAs lol.

Harvard needs Penn to lose at least one game to have a chance at a playoff for the Ivy title.

I thought they were tied in the loss column? Penn has a game in hand, but if they both win out, playoff, I believe.

No, you are a bandwagon fan because you have defined yourself that way in several essays in which you have detailed how you are no longer rooting for UConn and you are actively hoping that they do not make the NCAA tournament and that other teams make it instead. You have also detailed how you have enjoyed rooting for the good teams and the championships they have won in years past. That, by definition is a bandwagon fan, and that is you. No one needs to make a judgment call there; you have defined yourself. Sorry if you don't like it, but that's what you are, and you are hardly alone; you're just the one writing essays about it.

As for Lin, I don't recall an exchange with you, but I know I didn't call you a racist. If you are the one who called him cocky and said he was getting Jordan calls, I probably remarked that you weren't watching the games, and I stand by that. I am actually 100% certain of it.

Really? I am by no means actively rooting against UConn...that's ridiculous. I was at the Marquette game two weeks ago and at the Cuse game last week...rooting my ass off for them to pull off the upset. I was hoping they'd plow through Providence and I hope they beat Pitt tommorow. You seem to have taken my comments out of context. I simply said that if UConn continues to play tty basketball, I will not be at all upset to see them left out. Rightly or wrongly, you're kind of relieved as a fan when a frustrating season ends. If they don't make the tournament, I'll be rooting for them in the NIT, just like I did in 09-10.

If you weren't the one who implied I was racist then I apologize...must have confused you for someone else. He's certainly not cocky, so if I said he was, I was wrong on that. I'm just sick of hearing about him, really. You can appreciate the story but ESPN's really stuffed it down my throat.
