UNLV, Utah St., and New Mexico. Utah St. has 2 top 25 football finishes in the past 6 years and they have gone to the NCAA basketball tournament 4 time in the past 6 years. Long standing rivalries with Utah and BYU, 2 P4 schools. And, Utah is the fastest growing state. New Mexico is a flagship state university with decent basketball.Who are those 3? UNLV is a maybe, can't imagine they want anyone else.
If they want to take a shot at former members they go with Colorado State, Utah state and New Mexico (which runs btw az and west Texas), giving those schools a better chance to compete with their neighbors. And sure throw unlv in to create link to conf tournament venues.UNLV, Utah St., and New Mexico. And some UConn "fans" as well apparentlySo South Florida may very well end up in the PAC, while Stanford and Syracuse are playing an ACC football game tonight. Yet UConn joining the Big 12 is too big a stretch for pundits & presidents to wrap their heads around...
These are all just interim arrangements until the final design is reached. ADs know what their institutions goals and objectives are and are postering to best achieve those while paying the bills. None will last long term. Its fan bases that bring the revenue and need to be satisfied in order to reach max profitability. So South Florida may very well end up in the PAC, while Stanford and Syracuse are playing an ACC football game tonight. But USF? Is that a chip to trade with ACC to get StanCal back? Wtf
I wonder why these schools get invited to conferences, but UConn never does.USF, Memphis ,Tulane my play the PAC to get into the ACC
They can still go to the ACC after they get into the PAC when the new ACC GOR expires in 2030 and it gives them a chance to improve their resumes even more. In the meantime, UConn will be sitting on the sidelines monitoring.USF, Memphis ,Tulane my play the PAC to get into the ACC
I have no affiliation with the B12.You are living in a dream world your contract comes up long before the ACC.
You also don't make as much money, and lost your 2 best teams to the SEC.
The Big12 will be picked apart at your new contract in 2031, if not before.
The Big 12 schools are all worth about 30 million on TV. UConn is worth about 6 Million for oly sports and 500k for FB based on the current contract. If all the B12 schools are in the same situation as UConn now, I am pretty sure they would be worth even less than what UConn is being paid right now.
This troll has no clue how media contracts work. Thank God Yormark isn't an idiot who thinks like that.
'IT's hilarious how personal you all make this.We know the average per school was that when Texas and Oklahoma were there. Now diluted with G5s and mostly desperate PAC cellar dwellers, doubtful.
Don’t be surprised if Ok St, arguably the best remaining B12 football brand, and FSU join the SEC. Definitely cultural fits.
This rube is trying to inflate his conference value to try and hang with the big boys. It ain’t working.
Comical response. Note how you can't argue any points. All you do is go personal in some lame attempt to thump your chest. It's called projecting in Psychology. You accuse me of doing what you do because you perceive it that way due to sensitive feelings.I think you need to stop smoking the good stuff. There are so many false info in your post that it is not worth a proper response. If B12 folks are all like you, they really need to get off whatever they are smoking.
There is a reason why B12 paid media consultants while you are just another guy on the Internet thumping your chest about a bunch of schools that are far below UConn and ACC schools sans Louisville academically. Last I check, Yormark and the B12 media consultants aren't beating down your door for your opinion. University presidents do care about academics in addition to football.
Also, the B12 is just a bunch of schools that other 2 don't want. If you have schools that they want, you be picked apart so fast just like everyone else. Even then, I am pretty sure there will be another round of realignment at some point where the big 2 will get rid of all the free loaders in their conferences.
Just because you keep saying this doesn't make it true.UConn is worth about 6 Million for oly sports
Is it, or is it hilarious how you have invested so much time and effort to come to a Connecticut board to talk about our program? It seems very important to you.'IT's hilarious how personal you all make this.

Have you adjusted for time slot, channel and opponent? By your strict measurements NIU is worth more than Syracuse or Penn State. Everyone knows it’s not, they just got the benefit of playing ND. Furthermore, schools placed on lesser channels in a given week are not going to perform well or schools playing in a time slot where the head to head alternatives are super compelling. When media companies evaluate these metrics they have ways to normalize the data sets.
Nothing personal here huckleberry. You’re just a letter followed by two numbers who seems to be trying to engage in some argument no one here gives a crap about, and now your poor wittle feewings are hurt.'IT's hilarious how personal you all make this.

Simple fact like this is beyond the comprehension of this troll. As I said, he has no clue how media contracts work.Have you adjusted for time slot, channel and opponent? Well said. The troll is clueless on how media contracts work. It is not even worth a debate. His all argument is totally disingenuous, as he intends it to be. He’s trolling. Only a dozen schools max are worth 30 mill on their own. The conference structure creates the revenue. The whole is worth much more than the sum of its individual parts. Just ignore this idiot.
If you really think FOX got UConn for pennies your hugely mistakenComical response. Note how you can't argue any points. All you do is go personal in some lame attempt to thump your chest. It's called projecting in Psychology. You accuse me of doing what you do because you perceive it that way due to sensitive feelings.
The Big 12 has gone from one of the best to the bottom of the "P-4/5". They are down to relying on BB to be relevant. FB simply does not have the NIL $ to compete and buy 5 star players. Most teams have none.
See how easy it is to be honest. So please stop with your insecure act. It's lame and UConn fans are famous for it.
If UConn was valuable on TV they would be in the P-4/5. It's that simple. Getting mad at me won't change that.
I had hoped UConn would get an invite but I Am not confident anymore. I think ESPN told the B12 to wait, and FOX never support that as they have UConn for pennies.
