Add UTSA to the list of thanks but no thanks:
Good. Good for the AAC. I think the AAC is in a better all-round position than the PAC/MWC. And why shake things up now when some of those AAC programs can see what happens with the Big 12 and ACC. That certainly has to give the 4 MWC programs moving to the PAC some concern.
Gonzaga pursuit! Delusional dreams of football only invite are back on
This is a masterclass for them. Even though I'm not exactly believing the suggested media valuation nor is this a shrewd business deal by the PAC, it's incredible for Gonzaga to get a gigantic jump in revenue and drastically improve their conference while maintaining their travel and brand profile. In one fell swoop, Gonzaga just jumped the BE schools in revenue
report said full share nonthelessI assume it's a heavily reduced share sans-football
One is the loneliest numberThe amount of nos we hear and UConn football finding a new home have a linear relationship
4 AAC schools just announced they're stayingOne is the loneliest number
Except, latest reports solidly suggest the Pac 2 (+maybe 4 MWC schools) endeavor may be properly . See Air Force and maybe UNLV recommitted to MWC (for now); USF, Tulane, Memphis, UTSA or Texas State suggesting they’re sticking with the AAC or haven’t rationalized AAC departure and newly PAC entry costs, etc. It's very plausible that the Pac-2 will heavily subsidize the exit fees of three or four AAC schools.

What if I told you I know a school with no exit feeTime for plan B...South Dakota State Bison and South Dakota Jack Rabbits come on down!!!

How about full FB only deal and maybe some Basketball scheduling alliance for a few gamesI don't have time to start a 16-page read so if this was said already my apologies.
Benedict needs to start a conversation with Pac-12 for a scheduling alliance only. 2 games a year to their members would go a long way in settling the scheduling nightmare they will have. I much rather play Wash St. Oregon St., Boise St., Colorado St., and Fresno than FIU, Merrimack, and other like programs.
No crazy expectations about basketball or tied in for 5 years. We help them and they help us.
Welcome aboard Portland St and UC Davis. We'd love to have you!!4 AAC schools just announced they're staying
The Nevada situation is messy because supposedly it's a both or neither for the schools
