Cunane kept asking the ref (our friend Benny Luna) for a foul and he finally accommodated her. However, the refs were good overall and I have no complaints

Paige is so solid...really clutch. Congrats on a great win. I was thinking NC State was a bit overrated, but they were the proverbial cockroach.
I wish this game was located elsewhere; I don't think it factored in, but the detractors will point it out. Good luck in the Final Four!

Just a question - when was the last time Uconn won an overtime loss - I know they have lost 5 in a row in the NCAAs in this century with zero wins.

Hearing Dorka, on the floor, crying, made me cry. I expected this game to be close but wow. I want them to go all the way, of course, but don't need any more from this great group of players--this was so inspirational. So much heart in these young women, so much strength.

I'll admit, when it went to the first OT I thought the Huskies were spent, but Paige was all world. Also Azzi may not have shot that well, but her poise and calm demeanor shone through all night. That shuffle pass to Edwards was great, and speaking of AE like Geno said, that put back was HUGE! Props to the seniors, they battled all night and how fitting for Christyn to score the game winning basket.

Eh, she pulled at the offensive player's midsection. It was a weak call but she didn't have to do that.

That said, I didn't rewatch it, but I thought there was a worse foul on Paige away from the basket right before she drove and threw up that floater that rimmed out.

This game was truly epic. What a testament to this team's talent and toughness that they found a way to win it.

I feel so badly for Dorka. Hope she heals quickly and comes back strong next year.

Considering the magnitude of the game, the officials did not effect the outcome of the game. Early poor foul shooting by UConn almost did.
