Naheim Alleyne to St. John's

Man this thread turned ridiculously stupid. It's made even worse that the kid helped win us a championship and the thread title hasn't even been changed.

Psyched for Nahiem!
what dofkc do you know rick about pitino? old head

I said I was being facetious, I can’t stand St. John’s and seems I’m in the minority here.

You are not. Or maybe you are. But I’m with you.

Weird choice. I guess he doesn't really have loyalty to UCONN going to an arch-rival. Does he really think he will start for St. John's when that roster is completed? Maybe Pitino knows this will be a bridge year for him and won't really have his team until the following year. It does feel like a back stab. Weird times in college basketball.

It is weird this is unprecedented territory. There’s no anger because Alleyne was here for 1 year as a rental now if this were a freshman or a sophomore and he transferred to St John’s then I might be a bit angry.
What about Akok?

You do realize he was a 3 year starter at Virginia Tech, which was an NCAA Tournament team all the years he was there (2020 NCAA Tournament was cancelled)? He happened to be on a loaded team last season and then he was one of the first guys off the bench. He is a good college player. I'd be shocked if he doesn't start at St. John's next season. Who else do you think Pitino is getting?

Nahiem played fewer minutes this past season than he did in each of his three seasons at Virginia Tech and will likely get more at St. John’s. He accepted his role and played it exceptionally well and helped to win a championship. Look at his ig post, FWIW- teammates and coaches (Dan, Luke) liked the post. They support his right to make the choice and appreciate what he meant to UConn.

I know we’re supposed to say nice things. And I have. But this is disgusting. I can’t root for him next season now. It will have to wait another year. Nahiem is the enemy for 12 more months
Noooooo :(

We all do. From what I’ve gathered
