More trouble in ACC paradise?

Correct. Boeheim was suspended and lost career wins because of his assistant coach. He then came back and (the school) announced a retirement date and the coach-in-waiting (many years) would take over. That retirement date was withdrawn and the assistant went to U Washington as HC. Recruits didn't know who was going to be the HC and for how long. Recruiting dropped off. Boeheim retired and Red got the job because he was a great player and a nice guy... and turned out to be a lousy coach. After SU loses its first game in the ACC tournament, he will be fired.
it must be frustrating because Red did get a decent roster together this year, but those guys are playing playground ball.

Most of the things Louisville is asking for in their letter (collective negotiations for TV rights, doing away with the NCAA) is going to leave UConn even more on the outside looking in.
If the ACC, Big 12, and G5 try to push for collective negotiations of TV rights we might see The SEC and B1G actually choose the nuclear option and blow it all up. UConn might directly benefit from this as a number of schools like Pitt, Cuse, and yes Louisville might be looking for some new conference mates.

let's get the old gang back together.

I think you may have a problem with your football HC as well. Not sure what rational he could possibly have had to put that kid under center last season other than throwing in the towel.

And making his team run wind sprints after the UConn game was a 100% d 1 c k move.
