Just saw on twitter that Landers Nolley, a 2018 SG, is visiting on September 28th(official visit), makes me think the staff isn't confident on getting Mathis.

Hear some ru talk and hearing uconn talk. Usually by today it swings one way or the other

Waiting to hear what recruits are going to do has never been so stressful.

Posted this in the other Mathis thread that got deleted.

So this means UCONN right? #recruitingtalk #readbetweenthelines

Different kinds of players.

They would coexist nicely on the same team.

Let's get both, GD it.
I'm in.

Personally I like Nolley more than the other 4 star wings because he actually scores on all levels right now and isn't a project like Mucius (of course I'm not picky and would take either right away). If he is friends with Mathis too, even better.

Anyone know what time he's announcing? Don't really want to be refreshing the boneyard all day tomorrow.

I am hearing it is Rutgers because they are a P5 school.

What does football have to do with it?
Virginia Tech is a "P5," why not them?
UConn, VT, et all. are all high major.
There are limits though to choosing VT and Rutgers. Those aren't hoops focused high majors - and they have to compete on the recruiting trail with MUCH bigger traditional powers. If Montez wants to play in the NCAA tournament, those schools are going to get a lot more resistance.
They'd be terrible choices.
The 24/7 crystal balls seem to suggest 90% UConn.
