MNT's 2024

Familiar names for this camp. It’ll take Poch some time to visit the fringe and young guys who he'll give chances to moving fwd

Be interesting to see what he does with them.

I won't expect much in the first couples of game. I suspect that practice will be when the real evaluations take place. Letting them fail in the first few contests will probably reveal more about strengths and weaknesses than game planning would. He still has a lot of players to see before he begins to implement a system.

2 hours was their longest training session? I don't know much about soccer I guess. But it sounds like progress

.-.
The Poch era has begun. Looks like they'll try progressing the ball up the middle of field and press for quick turnovers when they lose the ball.
Goal 1 was a good-looking team goal. Puli, McKennie and a few others were sent back to their clubs prior to Tuesday's Mexico friendly

ive been away for a bit with the 2 kiddos 3 and under but wanted to stop in and say - what a refreshing performance for the boys under Poch this weekend. technical and intense - loved to see the effort to regain possession and musah finding his first goal.

Same old awful performance. Why is Ream still in the team? Aaronson and Scally are just not good players, Sargent doesn’t do anything. No creativity, no movement, no strength. Pathetic showing, been saying that far too much recently. Maybe it’s time to change this trash 4-3-3.

They weren't playing a 4-3-3. Poch has changed it to a 4-2-3-1.

If anything maybe poch rotates in a new b squad? Looks like Adams and mckennie will be back from injury soon

That game was meaningless.

Need to play some friendlies in Europe if you want to get two games out of the A squad.

Doubt we'll be playing too many games in Europe. No need to. With the WC here in 26, most European teams (when they are not playing Nations League and qualifying) will want games here.

With our players in Europe it makes more sense.

So all of England and France's friedlies have been moved to North America?
Don't know. But I would assume they would be trying to get some here, if possible. Not sure when they are going to have Friendlies again though. They have Nations League games right now (Nov) and WC Qual starts in March 2025 I believe (for those not still in Nations League).

They might have windows where they play one game in the league and a friendly.

When sent our A Teamers back to Europe for load management. Seems like we might get more reps as a team if we can cut back on some travel.

Lalas doesn't like Pulisic skipping Mexico. I wouldn't be surprised if Poch told his top guys to leave so he could do evals on the roster. He knows what he has with CP, Weah and McKennie. Putting big game pressure on the second string in Mexico gives him a better idea of the squad.

Lalas is an idiot.

At 26 Pulisic has played in more matches that Alexi ever did.

Impressive. They probably say many of the same things after games, but still nice.

Even I most likely got the last line of his first statement.
"Spirito della squadra era si perfecto
"Spirit of the squad is perfect," or something
