Mizzou - South Carolina

Interesting, my wife was asking why Wilson was still in the game.
Wilson wasn't in the game. She was standing at the end of the bench, but they kept pointing the camera at her.

So where does USC (east) end up in the next poll? I'm thinking 8th.

Missouri is tougher. They lost to LSU but sans Cunningham.

She was still on the court, not the bench.

Can't wait to see what happens when UConn goes to SC, if they play like they did today SC has no chance.

Hey MSG, we get that you don't like Staley.

Your multiple posts to that effect have clued us in. Please consider giving it a rest.
Duly Noted

For what it’s worth, I like Dawn. She’s a fierce competitor and her teams reflect her personality. Reminds me a little of a short Italian coach I used to watch on the sidelines many years ago.

Love seeing SC go down. Sophie Cunningham a beast. She has an interesting game. Mizzou coach is good. Wish Louisville had her. Walz can't coach team offense but he recruits well enough to stay ahead of the game. Cards did have their first successful back door play of the year today vs Va Tech. Cards beat Va Tech by 11 at home. I believe with Mariya and Cierra Johnson transfers Cards are down to 6 Mcdonalds All Americans.

Anyone see what caused the second T on Dawn? It didn’t look like she did anything from what I could see on TV.

Dawn voiced her displeasure with what was obviously a foul on Wilson's 5th and showed up the refs by not substituting in the required time. I think she was stunned that they tee'd and ejected her, but she'd been cussing them out the whole game and they had had enough.

They’ll certainly have an opportunity to improve after they face UConn as they will see about two dozen or so back door cuts by just about every Husky on the court. ;)

Oh no doubt. Geno will put on a coaching clinic like he always does vs Walz. Walz is 1-25 (for real) vs Geno and Muffet.

Just wait till the Olympics......................Dawn should consider taking some TM classes................

I heard Geno was a first class jerk back in the day. I’ve only been a WBB fan 3 years and he seems like a class act now. Pretty cool guy. Handled loss to Miss St with total class. He’s interesting and smart.

He only looked that way (And still does) to OTHER team's fans. He's ALWAYS been a class act.

Go back and look with an unbiased eye and a lot of what was going on was horrible officiating. Look Mizzou got the win, but they play dirty to compensate. Ask any other SEC school and the opinion of how they play is that it is very dirty. The fact that these were the same officials that called last year's Mizzou upset of South Carolina is strange in the least. Lest they will come to Carolina on Jan 28, and I don't thing we will be our normal congenial selves. Well that is basketball, but just wish women's officiating could be upgraded around the country.

I’ll have to watch Mizzou closer. I’ve seen 3 Mizzou games this year and didn’t notice dirty play but wasn’t looking for it. You can tell Sofie Cunningham is a tough girl. Not dirty.. tough physically and mentally

Interesting post-game comments from Dawn.

Part of the backstory here is that South Carolina thought last year's game in Columbia was very (too) physical and, as mentioned above, Mizzou does have a bit of a reputation around the SEC.

With that, things got interesting pre-game when Dawn texted Sally Bell, now head of SEC officiating, and pointed out that 2 of the 3 officials for today's game officiated last year's game. Dawn was told that was simply a coinky-dinky.
