Ross was much better on defense tonight but I’d pump the brakes on the NBA talk. He’s still a non entity on offense
I mean seriously.

I do agree with the post about Stew being best suited for a “microwave” role. Doesn’t seem to be able to sustain extended concentration to run the fundamentals over the long stretch, like taking care of the basketball. 6 turnovers in 22 minutes can’t happen.

Shaka’s defensive game plan on AK was wild. Even when he set a screen and tried to flare out of it to the wing, they were grabbing a handful of jersey so he couldn’t disengage. Shaka is just made for the BE and the way this league calls games. Every MU game I watch, I understand why he didn’t make it at Texas. This style just doesn’t play nearly as well outside of the BE.
Definitely not built for the track meet that is the Big 12.

Seems to play pretty well in the NCAA Tournament :)

Whoever posted about Tyler Polley 21 second half points to beat Marquette with unconscious threes
must of had the right Mojo for Solo
who could we call on for St John’s

Here's my offering.

Did Shaka skip the handshake line? What was he mad about? His team playing like ass?

It's Saturday night and most of have had some libations. Ball just destroyed Marquette tonight in Milwaukee. So, is it Dual Ball since he dropped a pair, or is it Triple Ball for all those nothing but net 3's tonight?

Though you could see the traits of an excellent shooter, I never thought Solo would be as efficient as he's been this season!!

Seemed like every 2nd half three was a momentum killer.

Solo seems very mature too, listening to him being interviewed post game.
One of the greatest clutch 3 Point shooting
performances I've ever seen. He built that lead and would not allow them to get it back time after time against a top 10 team in a madhouse packed arena. Well done Solo. Your growing confidence with that deadly shot is awesome. Well done.

What a great win! Thought we showed great poise in a hostile environment. Yea I know the TOs might suggest otherwise, but we never broke.

What an amazing game for Solo…

Man, once he gets a better feel for when to use the slow-mo Euro (which he uses almost always) and when to just attack and explode at the rim, look out! I so wanted him to just posterize Gold on the fast break

Wish you loved the 'skies as much. You were so down on them in 2nd half.

People can read the Chat for proof.
Don’t know what we all would have done without you constantly telling us what the score was. That was some real insightful stuff.

Solo is an absolute assassin wow. Now he’s rebounding as well which is huge. But as good as he was in that regard I thought I saw a step in the right direction on defense as well. Seemed to move his feet better, impressive game threw them on his shoulders.

Ross who I’ve labeled overrated on the defensive end, was really good tonight on that end. Huge minutes from him, especially using his length against those guys backing him down in their “nova style” offense. Pretty much stayed on the ground and made it tough for the 6’2 guards to finish. I like crow!

Let’s just say it was nuts.
