March Other Big East Games

Providence looks absolutely flustered against Xavier. Cooley pulled the entire starting 5 after about 7 minutes and the bench hadn’t done much better

21-8 after 10 minutes, yikes!
 
Xavier has jumped all over Providence at the start of their game...

I thought Cooley waited too long to switch Bynum off Boum and put Carter on him. Bynum would have been better served defending against Kunkel

139-73 free throw advantage for PC at home vs X, Marquette, Creighton, us. I knew it was bad but wow. Xavier luckily just good enough to hold on today even with the lopsided whistle
 
I hope human beings are like non-rechargeable batteries. Trey Alexander is using up a lot of made 3 pointers. I hope he is depleted if we have to play against him again (likely). Geesh.

I was told Cooley was above this sort of mistake. How did their sloppy drunk students handle the L?

Boum and Jones were terrific. I guess Boum loves playing in the New England gyms because he picked up right where he left off when he left Gampel.

Well he certainly not above those mistakes. As to their sloppy drunk fans, at least they didn’t throw beers on the court almost striking their their own cheerleaders.

Well yes and no. If humans are like that then that might mean UConnhas nothing left for Nova,. Perish that thought.

He’s gonna have a long nba career as a 3nD guard. I’d be all over him if I was a GM.

No cans for students. Apparently the new rule is anyone under 25 beers had to poured into plastic cups.
 
GTown Creighton game is a like a pickup game in a weekday afternoon at the UConn Field House. UConn blew out Depaul earlier and Creighton is saying “hold my beer”.
 
Georgetown and DePaul both made a good argument for relegation tonight.

You gotta think Georgetown might get better after the fire Ewing, but DePaul has sucked forever and shows basically no sign of being competitive in a power conference.

Neither team was in the game for even a second tonight.

Also, lol, Providence.

The live spread in the Georgetown game tonight briefly hit +45….that’s astounding.
 
Wow. 40-point loss for Georgetown against Creighton. And I thought DePaul was bad tonight. 19 made 3s for Creighton. Next Thursday should be fun.
