In another *shocker* the vastly overseeded Oregon State is losing to VCU.

Hawai'i bringing it to Cal. Feel bad for Berkley, though, since the lost a key player to a broken hand, and another player was ill pre-game.

Still: 27-20 Hawai'i.
Nobody ever went poor by betting against Barkleys picks.

Watching the end of the Cal-Hawai'i half missed that Sparty mistook the B1G title for the NCAA one... holy crap.

Damn I wanna see an upset but if your routing for MTSU your routing for Cuse to go to the Sweet 16 unless MTSU can pull off a FGCU.

MSU will end up winning by at least 15. Reminds me of the UConn-Albany game in 2006. Not quite the slow start but being down big to a very low seed. That game took at least a few years off my life.

Jaylen Brown has three fouls also, mainly on over-aggressive plays. One quick one in the second and all of a sudden things are looking monumentally bleaker for their ability to come back.

The only game that's ever driven me from the office in the middle of a work day.

This Iowa game has been pretty entertainment so far, great shooting.

I dunno. Middle Tennessee is exactly what a 15 needs to be. Aggressive and not scared.

Remember when that Temple fan came here talking trash posting a picture of a regular season trophy, and said we were living in the past?

LOL

Sparty down 15-2, 15:29 to play

They will fix this. But oh, how I love seeing Cal down at half. Let's clear out the whole Pac 12 contingent.

What a disaster of a tourney for the Pac 12. If Hawaii hangs on the Pac 12 will be 1-5 and were the higher seed in every match up.

It's been a disaster.

As for Cal: I thought Hawai'i was underseeded and picked them, but injuries and illness have really neutered them.

I picked Hawaii as well, I was very anti-Pac 12 in my bracket. I picked Zona, Cal, Colorado, USC and Oregon State to lose in the opening round.

I think it's a combination of the Pac 12 being overseeded and many others being underseeded.

Temple came back from 10+ point deficit to make it a 1 point game now against Iowa in 1st half.

Good for them. I was trashing them, but a win brings credits to the conference and cred.

When I lived in California I had a theory on this. I think the run of the mill, non P5 and mid major teams on the east coast and parts of the midwest are just much stronger than the schedule stuffers west of the Rockies (Gonzaga excluded).

Cal beat East Carolina by 8 at home. The team that was last in our league, and we beat them by 18. They lost to Richmond.

Utah is a 3 seeed, but Miami blew them out. So did Wichita State. They did beat Temple back before Temple was playing well.

Arizona played one eastern team, PC...and lost.
