Two bad games to start the thing.

FGCU destroyed FDU--not really a surprise since FGCU was the best 16 and FDU was roughly equivalent to Holy Cross.

The WSU-Vandy game was good... and then it wasn't. Look out Arizona. Holy...

The SEC just hired Mike Tranghese to improve their basketball fortunes. Although spring football starts soon so nobody in the SEC outside of Lexington will notice.

The Southeastern Conference is enlisting former Big East Commissioner Mike Tranghese’s help to improve the league’s basketball fortunes.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said Tuesday that Tranghese will serve as “Special Advisor to the Commissioner for Men’s Basketball.” The move came two days after the league only got three teams into the NCAA Tournament, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Maybe, but I also think you're underselling Wichita. They do just about everything well. They're the #8 overall team in KenPom and they got a #11....seed.

Looking forward to Michigan/Tulsa tonight. Both are common opponents this season and will be interesting to see if Tulsa makes the most of the golden tourney ticket they won when they were left for dead after Memphis throttled 'em.

Last 4 at large and worst 4 overall seeds. As to the critera at which the last 4 at larges are selected...well that changes every year and with the breeze.
