LMAO!!

Good one Stairmaster!

Do you or do you not think our head coach should be fired?

You proclaimed you were "right" about things being a dumpster fire. You and many others believe there are severe problems with the program right now. What's your proposed solution?

This just means we're getting Quickley/Quinerly in 2018, right?

This was my first thought. Jalen to the NBA leaves only Alterique at PG. They'll need Quickley quick.

Is there any news from Waters after his release? He set up any visits? Even an iota of interest in UConn still?

.-.
You guys realize this class is pretty much wrapped up right?

And everyone saying Ollie needs to produce results this coming season, well that's not going to be realistic evaluation anymore because our rebuild just got reset basically. Another thin roster lacking sufficient "UConn level talent" like Jacobs was saying yesterday that everyone was suddenly agreeing with and eating up.

Well, let's wait and see what happens with Harris, Diarra, and the jucos/grads. Still a number of players out there.

You guys are insane. The past year this board has been going bananas over MAL. When players were transferring out all I heard was that we'd be fine because MAL was coming in and Larrier will be back. Now MAL leaves and suddenly he sucks? The level of denial on this board is mind boggling

Or, it is different people.

Some people have been critical of MAL all along, including a certain poster who attends many games and has never been impressed. The same poster recently said he is sold on MAL because Ollie is sold, and because MAL's team seems to always win, and those were his first words before launching into a stream of negatives.

MAL is highly regarded, but we can't pretend that he doesn't have his detractors. He does.

Not at the moment no, but if you haven't even remotely evaluated in your head what's going on at Storrs then you are willfully ignorant. At some point all the rumors about poor chemistry and the constant turnover need to raise some eyebrows.

But I think you know that. You want this issue to be in absolutes, black and white. You want the debate to be either you want Ollie 100% or you want him fired ASAP, that's not how it works, but it does when you are desperate to save face.

Meh maybe this team will finally get pissed off because of all this. We haven't had an attitude in a while.

That's the best silver lining I can think of. Otherwise we're screwed.

If we miss the tourney next year, 100% yes. But of course you're right when you say UConn can't do any better, right?
You want to know what drives me crazy about the crap Stairmaster says? Ask him who would replace KO in the event he leaves.

Last time we got into this same thing he said we should fire KO because we can't do any better, and then went on to suggest that our best bet would be to have to resort to poaching King Rice from Monmouth, the guy who turned down the Duquesne job recently, are you kidding me, that's the definition of delusion, frankly it's offensive. This is the guy you all shower with likes when he says some random stoic comment every few weeks. That's how much he thinks of the program.

What did I do?

If we get waters or Harris it won't sting as bad. Seems we have hard times getting guys unless a bunch of minutes are guaranteed.
We did even under Calhoun. It amazes me how the Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Kansas and Arizona's of the world don't even have to think about that.

My thing is we needed another guard or at least a 6'4" type who could play the 2 and 3, and that was with MAL. So if we get someone does that make CV feel threatened and consider weighing his options like Borges mentioned? WTF, we can't have 2 or 3 guards on a roster and have guys be assured of 30 minutes of playing time, we need a full roster.

.-.
Wonder how Vital would have felt with a full healthy roster this season.....

Way too many prima donnas on this roster.

Whatever conclusion one draws about this situation, this should be a main takeaway.

There is playing time to be WON all over this roster and kids are leaving because of playing time?

A reminder we once had a roster that included Emeka Okafor, Charlie Villaneuva, Josh Boone, and Hilton Armstrong.

We are not bringing the right type of kids into this program right now. Not even close.
