Patty, Perry, Malone, Maliyah, and Ella ... They have bodies. Mainly young. But talented.

Perry is the one I think stands out. Has potential.

Meh that frontcourt is weak. The only one who is really SEC Caliber is Malone and even she will need a year to get used to the college game. Also Tofaeono transferred along with Dreimaine.

Weak or not. Blair always had his post players ready. Now we're not comparing them to SC lol. I just think A&M will crack the top 4. Outside of SC. A lot of teams took some losses. A&M will be one that I think recovers enough.

If Kentucky is the third best team, conference is rough next year.

You see contenders I don't?

if probably make Miss State and LSU the next most likely to surprise but league has lost a ton.

Like I said, I am not fully sold on Elzy yet. Maybe Kentucky is going through what A&M went through with Carter and struggle to field a cohesive team with the Howard show. Howard obviously is terrific but it seemed like something was off with them last year. For the talent they had, I was disappointed and was expecting more.

It might be better to evaluate this closer to fall when all the transfers and etc are over.

Im gonna be brutally honest.... its SC and then the rest. It could get crazy 2-9

Looks like another scholarship will be opening up. Savannah Dews is looking at other schools now. Kim has trimmed down that incoming class although I think Ware and Hall are solid players.

If J. Thomas medically retires as rumored, that will be another open scholly as well.

Some of the incoming freshmen will be moving in 4 days from now.

I'm really interested in what Mulkey does at LSU and will support her and the team.

Mulkey says she is bringing 2 players with her (Ursin & Gusters). I guess Oliver isn't going to follow her to Baton Rouge.

Trinity Oliver is a great kid but I don’t think Kim would bring someone on like that while trying to restock the talent. She could afford to at Baylor considering the elite surrounding talent but LSU doesn’t have that. Maybe I’m wrong.

I think she meant it as in the two players that has committed. If anyone else transfers from Baylor. I think LSU would be in consideration.

I think Kim would lol. Now I don't think she'll be Kim's first option for the last spot though

I heard she was looking at Auburn. I think she might add Trinity from a depth perspective if room allows, although don't think she would be a starter.

I agree. We still have players like Cherry and Shemasti who I think is all around better and could start at the 3. Shemasti made huge strides the last few games.

Auburn would actually be a great landing spot.

I'm honestly excited for the next season.

I'm curious who the final assistant is gonna be. Probably going to be more an X and O's coach than a recruiter, although it will be interesting to see the contrast compared to Brock when it comes to recruiting.

A bit surprised that more aren't following her. I expected NaLyssa Smith to, at least.

Idk maybe it's me. But the media pushed them to stay. Well their social media posts as well.

Smith seems mad at her for leaving, she removed Kim from all her social media after the announcement.

At the same time, she is an upcoming senior who hasn't graduated yet so maybe that plays a big role in upperclassmen decisions, especially seniors (which Baylor is very heavy). It can be an issue with credits transferring when they are at the tail end up earning their degree's.

I'm just waiting for the staff to be finalized. I cannot think of a reason why Kim hasn't announced Rice yet. Idk what they are doing to do with 2022 recruiting but we seem a bit behind the ball right now on that. All the girls Kim was recruiting for at Baylor and had Baylor as a finalist, haven't heard anything yet if they are visiting LSU. I do know Sammie Wagner is visiting at some point which is great but thats 2023. I guess we will be hitting the portal hard the next two years.

I'm sure I said this before, but... I really like the team she have to start off. Fargas definitely didn't leave much, but there are talent that is Kim worthy
I feel LSU wasn't as bad as their record reflected last year but their inability to manufacture points was a killer. They showed flashes at times (beating Georgia and A&M) and playing in a lot of close games but that is the key to next season's success. Adding Moon definitely dramatically helps with that.

Curious how Petty, Shematsi, Payne and the freshmen do. Didn't get to see much of the others as Fargas literally rolled out the same lineups every week with not much change. Payne and Shematsi were very intriguing to end the year but that was basically the only time they played. Shematsi really excited me with her potential shooting the 3 ball, she has a lot of range. She was a highly regarded international/JUCO prospect but it felt like Nikki had no clue how to use her.

Just briefly, who are the two other than Gusters and Ursin? Are they incoming frosh? Don't know anything about them.

How could you forget Pointer? Aifuwa is no slouch either and honestly is the type of big Kim likes although I felt she didn't fully develop under Nikki. She just needs to finish better near the rim.

JMO, the talent isn't that good but we definitely didn't utilize the talent we had . Nikki had zero clue how to formulate an offense. Part of that was recruiting issues but the other thing was her system did not allow for kids to develop offensively. Kids were constantly passing up open shots. Cant develop confidence if you don't shoot or do things during a live game.
