31 for 33 now on free throws. I thought I was in a different reality last night when she missed one. No one in their right mind would foul Lou in the act of shooting.

Double digit games still intact! Yay! Nothing seems to phase that girl.

If you look at the fouls they call on her versus what they don't call when she is fouled...she should have another 15 attempts. She's what I call a baller.

In another thread, a few fellow posters were discussing that Lou may be playing more minutes this year then in her earlier career at Fairfield. Which I knew they were wrong so I went and looked at her 4 years at Faifield to compare to her stats this year. Her improvement is nothing short of remarkable. All her shooting percentages are up, her assist to turnover ratio is also better, her minutes are down slightly and her efficiency ratio is down due to her lack of rebounding at the Major level. I really like Lou. If we were ever in a 1 possession game, I would have her be the primary option. She is one of the few players on the team that seems to be able to get a good shot off without screens or needing a great pass. The only other player on the team that I've seen that same ability is Paige. Unfortunately we don't have Paige this year.

It's even more impressive because teams have been keying on her as the lone consistent perimeter threat with all the UCONN guard injuries. You saw the ND game..after Azzi was injured..they just left Aubrey alone knowing that long-range shooting wasn't the strength of her game. And...Lou still scored 21 or something like that.

Can't imagine where we'd be without her.

What I appreciate about Lou (among many appreciations) is that like that old watch commercial: " she can take a lick'n and keep on
ticking". Without our other three-point players on the court, she can really get mugged out there; but ... then... she gets up, rubs her "wound" and runs on... and on, and ... on and ...............

When Ines went in, Edwards brought the ball over halfcourt most of the time.

In viewing the Seton Hall game again (as well as most games Azzi has missed), amazed at the nonstop beating Lou has been taking as she rotates around the court in UConn's motion offense. Constant holding, hip checks, etc. Unlike some that exaggerate the effect of contact to get the call, Lou is very business-like and just keeps working to get open or make the pass. You can tell she has a foot or ankle issue but seems to be playing through it as long as Huskies need her on the court.

Yes she is taking a beating, and it is starting to take a toll. She has been taken out for a rest in later parts of games for just this reason.

Love this picture of Lou with her game face on, vs Georgetown. I laughed when I saw this live. Yes, she was fouled, no it wasn’t called. Lou can’t buy a trip to the free throw line

Edwards is like...It wasn't me, Lou. AE and Nika are always near the collisions.

She is putting together an excellent year. Can't help but think about what the last couple of years would have been like with her on the team.

Her consistency (or reliability) is amazing. Low of 11 points, high of 23 points, but she's always around her mean of 17 points. If you plot it, a nice narrow normal curve with nearly everything within 1 standard deviation to the mean. Same with her shooting percentage.

Lou picked up two quick fouls in the first two minutes of the game and sat for much of the first half. Aubrey played very well in her place and they split time in the the third and fourth quarters.

Lou had a mixed game today. The good was 17/7/5/1/1. But her shooting was off, at least from the arc (0-2) and FT line (3-5). Her cumulative stats: .496/.490/.895. Still exceptional!

I'm so glad that Lou (Chica) has shown the doubters that a great shooter is a great shooter no matter from the MACC or other conference. She's always been a baller of high quality. And she can shoot from all three levels, mid range, distance and FT. Hope she makes AA (which she deserves) Let that serve as a lesson to all the doubters. Go Huskies

Chica is certainly consistent! She helped us grab an early lead and kept on going. Another 20-point game for her.

Cumulative shooting stats: .494/.490/.900. That's a stellar 49/49/90. She's 4th nationally in 3-point shooting.
