Would think the game plan for Flip is to make his short list after his junior year OVs are done and get him back on campus (whether a senior yr OV or another UV because of geographic proximity) to close the deal.

Just getting him on campus was an excellent job by Dan Hurley/staff with all of the buzz around his ascending visibility.

Well I think one of the tricks to all this, is that Hurley conducts his practices in a particular way, with constant tempo, energy, and I am sure some other ideas unique to how he wants to construct his practices, the point being that his style/approach to practice is one of his main recruiting tools.

Only so much UConn can do when duke gets involved. Clingan and Karaban would be great. Syracuse gets hurt most from this.

This guy has had Duke written all over him from the start. Rens basketball had very little to do with it.

Hurley should still recruit him HARD even after the verbal and LOI to Duke. If he isn't playing, he could transfer to UConn by January.

This need to turn this into some sort of injustice, like he would have gone to UConn if not for this wrongful intervention, is pathetic. It's Duke. They're going to get recruits we want with or without the NY Rens.

But you just said it isnt the same Duke in another thread. I am confused. Flip was never coming to UConn.
