Yes, he'll be 23 before this season starts.
No wonder Jamie Dixon was interested . . .

This is my favorite post.No wonder Jamie Dixon was interested . . .
I think I saw a video of him touching the ceiling.Williams had a lot of trouble in the classroom in high school, then sat out last year. It explains his lackluster recruitment, but with his athletecism his ceiling is still very high. How close he gets to it will depend on his rebounding and shooting.
At Gampel.I think I saw a video of him touching the ceiling.
Maybe he can get a summer job removing ceiling tiles? At Gampel.

Adrien played 5 years in the NBA. Not on our Mt. Rushmore, but certainly on our all-time great Husky list. We have a distinctly different recollection of his mid-range game. Jeff was very dependable from the elbows and generally from 15 feet an in. Had an excellent short game, scoring and rebounding and defending. Of course, mostly, he is likely my first choice to go to war with of all former huskies (runner up to Toraino), and that was likely his greatest attribute.Adrien . . . Not a great foul shooter or midrange.

Canada counts as Alaska, so D. Brown.Don't think anyone's asked, so has a player from Alaska ever played for our UConn Huskies?

I know they did a lot, but getting embarrassed by a laughably inferior Mich St front court in the FF is going to be what always stands out to me with him and Thabeet (well that and Blair flipping Thabeet).

Sam Had basketball skill but lacked the athletism to play at our level.Another Sam Cassell "Not So" Jr.
I always debate this with my friends. I recall Jeff having a knock down foul line J. I've searched quite a bit on the internet to try and find a shot chart to back this up, but never had much luck. I'll always have the Texas A&M game to look back on though.
Yes Adrien's jumper from about 10-15 feet away was good enough for defenders to respect it and guard him that far from the basket. And then when he got the ball in the low post he was pretty unstoppable.
Lately we have had some players who were built like boys compared to other guys you see around college basketball and they got tossed around. Not sure how good any of these frontcourt guys will be but this dude doesn't look like someone who will be pushed around, neither does Cobb. Will be nice to have some grown men on the team. A dunk in someones grill is worth more than two points in my book as wellHave seriously always wanted a guy like this on the team. 3 years left, he'll be 25 senior year? BYU eat your heart out.
Asks and answers his own question. Why does everyone get excited over a juco transfer? The bar is set way too low.

You're memory of two of the best players in recent UConn history is a Final Four (!!!) game they lost on the road to Michigan State? Adrien and Thabeet put up a combined 30 and 13 that game with 4 blocks too.
Tough crowd.
I hear he plays dogged defense!Tarrier is our best player.
they also gave up almost 20 offensive boards.
Raymar Morgan who was so bad for the prior 2 months that there were national articles talking about how bad he was playing, completely dominated them.
I forgot about how bad Adrien and Kemba shot from the FT line. Kemba had a bad day, but obviously he made up for it.
Maybe Bunkey's got a new roommate?Yes, he'll be 23 before this season starts.
Don't take it personally. It's his new thing. He called me a casual fan on the football board, too. It's like "Confir_ed", but more annoying. Anyone who is a member of the Boneyard is, by definition, not a casual fan.
It's his version of "fetch". Stop trying to make "casual" happen, Chief. It's not going to happen... (insert Rachel McAdams meme here___)
Not being a member of The Boneyard is not my definition of Casual Fan. It is not meant to be a divisive term - it's an affectionate term. I have never been critical of casual fans and I have always welcomed them. While I don't think coed First Night is in the best interest of the team, I have never criticized the casual fan for enjoying the festivities.
Jessica Moore?Don't think anyone's asked, so has a player from Alaska ever played for our UConn Huskies?
