They felt the same way about Keno Davis for about a year and a half.I remember PC fans really thinking he was the one.

Who were they?Hurley talks about 2 Big East jobs he wanted while at URI and neither school asked to interview him.
Dammit, I was hoping to get to the end of the thread without someone already making this joke.Joey Gallo is dead. It's Joey Callo.
Cooley has won only 3 NCAA Tournament games total in TWENTY SEASONS as a head coach. That's not solid, thats awful.5 tournament appearances at Providence is solid. I don’t know why you would expect the coach of Providence to routinely get out of the first weekend. They don’t have that kind of history.
Hah!
Hah!
To be fair though, English is not his first language. He might have said those things in his native Estonian language and it might not have perfectly translated to English. If he responded in English he might have meant to say it another way rather than the way it sounded, but his limitations in speaking English might have prevented that. To be clear, I am not knocking his English speaking, he is very fluent and conducts the press conference more than adequately.I mean, it absolutely makes sense and is a solid, logical decision. But you just don't say that about your program lmao
Providence is a weak program in any language. To be fair though, English is not his first language. Are you guys serious?? I have a better chance at making the UConn team as a walk on. There’s a ZERO % chance Hurley would leave UConn for Providence. He turned down a chance to coach the Lakers with LeBron , but he’s going to take the providence job 😂😂😂They have as good a chance as anyone at getting him
Who's gonna tell him?Are you guys serious?? I have a better chance at making the UConn team as a walk on. There’s a ZERO % chance Hurley would leave UConn for Providence. He turned down a chance to coach the Lakers with LeBron , but he’s going to take the providence job 😂😂😂

Jared Grasso to PC would the funniest hire in college hoops history. Only thing that could possibly come close would be Southern Canada hiring Mike Hopkins after they show Red Autry the door.Maybe different guy w/Gallo's initials...
Too soon for Jared Grasso to reboot in Rhode Island?
Welcome. I gave you a like to get you off the schneidAre you guys serious?? I have a better chance at making the UConn team as a walk on. They had a chance to hire him when English was hired. Now would be lots more money and if you are Pitino, why give up the NYC stage/limelight?Pitino.
Maybe. But they are more straightforward and don't beat around the bush over there like we tend to do here in the States. I found people in Estonia/Latvia to be a little cold at first, but appreciated how candid they were in the long run. Estonian or English, I don't think the message would change much IMO.To be fair though, English is not his first language. He might have said those things in his native Estonian language and it might not have perfectly translated to English. I believe all the talk about Pitino is misdirected. It is about Junior not slick RickThey had a chance to hire him when English was hired. Now would be lots more money and if you are Pitino, why give up the NYC stage/limelight?
UConn should go after Jones in backcourt.
I mean, it absolutely makes sense and is a solid, logical decision. But you just don't say that about your program lmao
Indeed. If you’re in Helsinki it’s a nice ferry ride over!(Tallinn is gorgeous btw, super underrated city).
