Worth the read. Outlines the potential football split by the power conferences. Looks like it could be over.

I read the article. As for the question of ‘is college sports worth saving’, the answer appears to be yes, but only Football and Basketball for the most part. Honestly, why not just follow pro sports at this point. I have only so much viewing time anyway.

How the heck can Rutgers be running up a $70 million deficits if they make $61.5 million in conference distributions annually? Note that that $70 million deficit is after an annual school contribution of $28.6 million. So somehow their athletic program is $98.6 million in the hole, after getting $61.5 million a year in conference distributions alone, never mind, ticket, sales, sale of merchandising, rights, etc.

NJSU is the rich kid who not only does zero with his head start, but manages to blow every opportunity handed to him, other than the associates degree he purchased from the nearby community college. found this courtesy of an orange rutgers dumpster fire thread

UConn football, as bad as we've been in this stretch, has beaten multiple ranked teams. We just do more with less. Rutgers will always do less with more.

They're born on third base, celebrate like they legged out a triple, and are immediately picked off by the pitcher on the next play. That is the entirety of Rutgers Football from the 1980's to present day.

South Florida in 2007.

Since 2014 was the reference. UConn has beaten other ranked teams prior to that. Louisville under P comes to mind.
