And does what? Run a tournament most of the country won't care about? What if the Px breaks away from the ncaa? Have you considered the consequences of being outside looking in?

I think it would be an absolute disaster and I don't think they're dumb enough to try it.do you think most of the country will blow off a national championship consisting of the top 60 to 80 programs in the country? Please! Think CFB where Less than 10% of the schools are Px. You may not care at that point because your school is shut out, but it will be a national event, They can probably afford to but the March Madness branding.
If you were a top 250 player, which tier which yiu like to play for?
I read a rumor that UConn and the ACC are “talking.” This is a place that has connections in the Michigan athletic office. I would treat it like non-key, but the rumor is out there.Screw Utah. Screw the ACC. This is a critical time for CR.

Everyone is saying Utah is a package deal with the Arizonas. I think it's over. It’s time for the school to break the silence. Give us some sign. Fire up the bat signal.

Maybe this is Utah’s “UConn penciled in” momentEveryone is reporting Utah is a package deal with the Arizonas. I think it's over.
So much for the Big 12 wanting to be a national conference and presence in the northeast!Everyone is saying Utah is a package deal with the Arizonas. I think it's over.
People wouldn't be interested in a sport where every team makes it from the P-whatever. It makes the regular season worthless and it produces a watered down crappy tournament. People want the regular season to matter, they want the little guys having chance to make the tournament and do damage in the tournament. If they do anything for money it will be expanding the tournament which would also be a mistake but not anywhere near as dumb. It’s about the money, everything is about the money.

Mostly from that guy Scheer, the Arizona guy but I think Thamel suggested it too.Where are you seeing that?
I’m ready for the kick![]()

We got that today with Anthony's articleIt’s time for the school to break the silence. Give us some sign. Fire up the bat signal.
The fact that the FTC has no teeth and allows hundreds of monopolies?Dumb question:
Won't a P2 or even a P3 run into anti trust issues? What's stopping the FTC from saying you can't continue to consolidate?
Can’t think of a better way for the conference to get back at FSU.I read a rumor that UConn and the ACC are “talking.” This is a place that has connections in the Michigan athletic office. I would treat it like non-key, but the rumor is out there.

I would not say that I have much confidence in the rumor. Just passing it along.First GoKU, now GoBlue
