Oklahoma has no vote.Because maybe they would prefer that the conference they’re leaving stays weak reducing or eliminating any competition in the region. They are not a stand alone like Texas.

We pinched our nose when Aresco brought in the AAC teams to add to UConn, Cinci and USF.People underestimate the PAC academic arrogance. They didn't want to be associated with B12 schools in the past. They even turned down Oklahoma if Texas didn't come along.
Of course, desperate people do desperate things. Many in the PAC are getting desperate right now after Colorado left.
Tremel sources are in OKU AD office. Maybe also Tulsa admins who are upset that Tulsa isn't part of the talk.I think some of these Presidents are just very anti-northeast. Probably OkSt based on Tramel carrying water for someone.
I know. This about if Tramel is a stooge for OSU.Oklahoma has no vote.
To @JMick ’s point… the problem is that the words/opinions of the people carrying water for others gets amplified in other industry publications: From today’s D1 Ticker Newsletter:

Exactly. ND could solve the issue by joining ACC. Same way they could have stabilized BE.Ironically, the current ACC is likely in the same position as the old Big East. If we get into the B12 at 15/16 where the hell are BC and Cuse going. This is why getting in is imperative.
I think it's time for some classic yacht rock that nails the current mood.

He posted a video last night.
He is an OU guy. I don't think he's relaying anybody's message but his own. He hates us and the idea that we'd get in and sully his old conference still bothers him. Think about UMass replacing UConn in the Big East. He's just an annoying jerk.I know. This about if Tramel is a stooge for OSU.
Torres notes this as well.If AD DB wasnt confident, would he really have given Hurley a contract that is more than the tv revenue. His actions say one thing that people are ignroing, his words........well, its been radio silence.
The narrative ran for a short while that OSU is against us and he was their puppet. Sure there will be fans who look at us like we looked at ECU because we are from a foreign territory but the conference presidents have been on board with us since May.He is an OU guy. On the other hand, if it were a certainty in Connecticut were out, why would either Trammel or his source bother? It kind of seems to me Connecticut submission may still be subject to debate in the Trammel piece is intended to influence public opinion.Tramel is repeating what someone is telling him (or he is making things up/misinterpreting them). Sure it's an "opinion piece" by him but it's really someone elses opinion and he's putting it out into the ether as some part of a strategic play. If that wasn't the case then administrators from one or a couple schools wouldn't be talking to him and giving him their perspective.
Regardless of what Torres is hearing, Bill Self said that they could be going to 16 and a Big East school could be in the mix. It’s in the first few minutes, and it’s based on the Big 12 only going to 14. He’s he hearing Arizona would be 14 and that the big 12 would stop there.
However, I still think that the Big saying we only want 14 is to create multiple options out of the PAC vying for that spot.
I think we’re in at 16.
Maybe...but he also has decent size platform in the college football space. If you are OSU and you don't want UConn, he's the logical guy to propagate your anti-Uconn argument. He gets to say publicly everything you can't say out loud. Why does a guy in OK care so much about UConn--so much so that he's written multiple articles. He doesn't.He is an OU guy. This is. Avery good point. He didn’t write about Memphis.Maybe...but he also has decent size platform in the college football space. anyone can reach out to him, though.Tremel sources are in OKU AD office. Maybe also Tulsa admins who are upset that Tulsa isn't part of the talk.
True, but they can still try to poison the well on their way out.Oklahoma has no vote.
I have faith that we aren’t going to Diaco it this time. Throw it for a touchdown! The ball is at the goal line. I don't know what down it is. I don't know how much time is on the clock. But the ball is there and hopefully they can engineer the touchdown.
Time for HCJM to put in Anthony Sherman and Jordon Todman. The ball is at the goal line. I don't know what down it is. I don't know how much time is on the clock. But the ball is there and hopefully they can engineer the touchdown.
