Where is Chief?
He doesn’t know S. & H. & I. & T
Where is Chief?
It does mention in the next paragraph that interest and talk between Arizona and the Big 12 has waned lately and ASU is a factor in this.Is there a 14th out there? Yormark, an aggressive and calculated former leader of a New York entertainment agency, has targeted UConn as a potential expansion possibility. But the preference among many of his member schools is to first seek another Power Five program. UConn football currently competes as an independent. According to the Big 12’s new TV contract, Power Five expansion additions receive a full pro-rata share of the distribution, which is expected to start around $31 million annually per school.
It wouldn't surprise me if they agreed to stay one more year as a part of the deal to get them reinstated after their premature exit letter.![]()
Sources: Colorado on verge of leaving Pac-12 for Big 12
Colorado has been flirting with the Big 12 since last fall, and now it appears to be ready to leave the Pac-12 with a key board meeting on tap Thursday.sports.yahoo.com

I'm not buying Colorado being the only moving part in this. Maybe for a tiny bit but a 14th is surely in the works.
SDSU is now in the Pac clearly. Their premature letter has come to fruition.

For a truly national conference, B12 will need UCONN for its New England, NYC, and CT markets. It makes no sense to add a bunch of West Coast teams with multiple in the same state.Yormark wants UConn. He will get what he wants. Gotta be a little more patient guys.
Utah.
Then the Big 12 would have the two Utes.
The original tweet said not a four corners school. So it would be Oregon or UW.
No chance these schools want to join the B12 unless they have absolutely no choice. The same can be said for Cal and Stanford. All 4 of those schools will be B10 or stick together to form something else. One would think Washington and Oregon are Big10 bound.
The only thing that makes me believe is the absolute waste of time on his end if he’s just making it up.GoKU making a play at becoming yard famous or infamous
Not my best trait. Are you thinking days or weeks?Yormark wants UConn. He will get what he wants. Gotta be a little more patient guys.
Don't be discouraged. Everybody here has Stockholm Syndrome. You'll be happy, give it a few days.
I just hope that light is not connected to the train that is going to run us over! You are a light at the end of a dark tunnel. Let's hope you are right. Many UCONN fans gonna be buying you drinks if we are invited.
This is such a gross violation of NIL because the value transfer is based upon the program brand not the individual player. This is pure BS. There should be a general fund with level payments for all. If a kid wants a NIL deal it has to be his face no relation to football, school brand, etc.The move to P2 has begun! We, the P2, can outspend anyone and you will never catch up.
Coach Sanders hasn’t won jack at a very lower level. That all depends on Coach Prime. They could easily do it in football. In Basketball they have a very good recruiting class coming in, but winning that conference is next to impossible, even more so if UConn joins.
I'll take my chances. I am sure on this.GoKU making a play at becoming yard famous or infamous
“If the rest of the Pac-12 holds together and doesn’t follow Colorado, Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark would like to target American Athletic Conference football and Big East basketball member Connecticut. There is belief within the conference that Yormark is far more enamored with the Huskies than other members, but that he would have gained further credibility and trust by delivering Colorado. Thus the Big 12 could sign off on pursuit of UConn, a basketball gold mine in the northeast but a football underachiever over the last decade.”
Well you’re on the clock now. Put me down as someone who thinks you have an accurate take on this. Also would love Arizona in the Big12.I'll take my chances. I am sure on this.
Arizona will be inhabitable in a decade so not the smart long term play.
Regardless of the slip up, it seems clear we’re the backup for the four corner schools.Uhh. Pat Forde thinks we're in the AAC for football.
What's clear is that Forde (who has always enjoyed taking digs at us) believes we are no better than a backup choice. He isn't part of the decision making process so........Regardless of the slip up, it seems clear we’re the backup for the four corner schools.
He probably called up Warde Manuel for advice. Is AD David Benedict monitoring the situation?
Utah is one of the 4 corners. He said it wasn't a 4 corner schoolUtah.

I think we need to buy you a beer at Lawrence Brewing if this comes through. Plus that’s now three KU fans we tolerate around here (well, not everyone tolerates me).Nope
