all that stat proves is that it is very hard to win a title. Look at all of the seasons Providence, St Johns, Seton Hall have played without winning a basketball title. You can probably pick any random 12 schools and come up with a similar record.

There are plenty of schools already in those leagues for decades that haven't won titles.
