He listed off all these stories that "he broke" which weren't really stories, i.e.' FSU had interest in the B1G, and then I fell asleep.....

Then he said all the national reporters are too egotistical to investigate CR deeper. Let me repeat....he rattled off why he is so great, then called others egotistical.

He has this annoying woman sidekick.....I gotta stop......

We really need to stop following this guy. He is a wack job....oh yeah....pretty sure he quoted a guy, who knew Einstein, about linnear something....

How he ever got someone from CBS on his show, I'll never know.

Hell... they haven't come close to talking about UConn or CR.

The Dude spent a good 5 minutes whacking around Clay Travis and other "national media" for making fun of him.

How they got Jeremy Fowler to call in is amazing. (he may have stood them up because he was suppose to call in @ 2030)

Gawd... the co-host sounds like she's about ready to suck on a tailpipe.

He just said that his sources tell him that Texas is going to challenge the GOR and the enabler is Fox.

(Still no Jeremy Fowler).

This is getting really awkward. They keep waiting on Fowler

Sheeetz - Fowler actually called in. He has no clue what he just stepped into.

The Dude keeps calling the P5, the Big 5.

I'm ashamed of myself for giving it two minutes. God I need help. This CR stuff is killing me....

Fowler gave him nothing new... he's off the air now.

theDudeofWV 9:04pm via Web
Fowler says the decision to invest $ in div 4 is a 80-90 year decision.

theDudeofWV 9:05pm via Web
Fowler says Cincy doesn't have the football tradition but has demonstrated the $ commitment.

Oh wait... he's talking UConn.

Clown Dude sez we would be #13 for Big 12 after BYU and Cincy. USF would be 14.

Actually both the key tweet and non key tweet threads should be deleted twice, you know, so you can't undelete them.

The only way the Pac12 expands is if the B12 breaks up. Otherwise, they can't do it. The B12 is the most vulnerable. Still. TCU, Baylor, Kansas St., Iowa St. and West Virginia.

@McMurphyESPN Care to comment on rumors of Big 12 adding BYU, Cincinnati and/or UCF & USF? Fact or fiction?

Brett McMurphy@McMurphyESPN3h
@ChrsLambertMSNN Fiction

@McMurphyESPN Thanks. People never believe me.

Brett McMurphy@McMurphyESPN3h
@ChrsLambertMSNN they don't believe me either. they just want it to happen so bad, but there's no reason for big 12 to add any of those

This. I think qualifies as a Key Tweet, and not a good one for us:

Roomie, I didn't see anything all that bad in there. Seemed like the same threat of breaking away and changing the rules. Could they really do this? Any legal ramifications given the impact on universities left out of the P5? I can't see institutions (and their politicians) letting this breakaway republic ruin what schools have worked so hard to achieve. Can you see the CT legislature sitting still while UConn becomes a 2nd class citizen. It will make for great soap opera.

I have a feeling that this is years, perhaps decades, from happening. I have no doubt that the 65 schools want the power, I question that all the 65 schools want to pay their athletes (whatever you call it and in whatever form this is getting paid for playing football). I question the Title IX ramifications. I also have questions on an antitrust level. When Div. 1 split into D1 and D1a, schools decided their own fate. If they make the investment, they're in D1. If not, they go to D1a. It wasn't luck of the draw based solely on conference affiliation. Finally what does this mean for other sports, namely the Basketball tournament? The P5 wants their cake and eat it too.

Seeing as the NCAA tourney has 68 teams, the P5 will have to add 3 teams somewhere and then everyone makes it. Keep the power and the cash all for themselves.

That's because you forgotten the cardinal rule of conference realignment: Every change screws UConn.

Nah. Either the split will be for football-only (operating under a new legislative body) or if they were so bold to-do so they would half the tournament teams to 32. Even then I don't anyone would be interested in seeing a 14-16 SEC team vs. a 13-17 PAC-14 team square off in the tournament.

Remember, without the cupcakes, those teams records would likely mirror their in-conference record...that 14-16 SEC team, in a world without low-majors, would be something like 5-25.
