Not since last night....still all pro-UCONN. Camp, us taking another PF, and other forces pushed this to Oregon today.

That is now Oregon, VCU, Utah, Gonzaga, Seton Hall, and PC we lost to recruits to from this class. Anyone recall what Fishy said a few days ago about the need for this staff to have a hardcore recruiter?

Not sure if joking. Oregon landed a JC pf last week as well. As for cooling on him, as you probably read, Uconn flew to see him this morning.
 
Does anyone know who exactly flew to see him?
 
This is where parents need to step in and say, "Ray, do what is right for you. Don't worry ab0ut anyone else." I personally find the suggestion that UConn discouraged him to be very unlikely. If that were the case, would this have gone down to the last minute? Wouldn't KO have sent a less than subtle message?

You would never discourage a player. He just has to earn PT. At Oregon its given. Not here.

It's kind of Meyer's thing - wait for somebody else to break the story and then change your pick accordingly claiming you had it right the whole time.
 
If Meyer is indeed "correct", he's going to be bashed by uconn fans on twitter

I called him a flip flopper and he said he usually flips incorrectly and should stick with his earlier picks. Overall it's a joke what they do on that site though.
 
It's funny how they always set up the time for the announcement and 99% of the time the answer leaks out an hour or so before the announcement.

Oregon signed a sf from juco. And I said I'm sure Ollie cooled off maybe not if they truly went to visit him. However I still don't see this as losing out to Oregon. If we don't offer Lubin we get Ray. Bottom line if anything Uconn chose.

That's more like an excuse. We lost on Ray if he decides to go to Oregon.
