Kaleb Joseph cuts list- No UConn

I'm in Homer and I have a bunch to bring home, many King Salmon and Halibut. Including a 175lb one. My biggest yet. This is a yearly trip so I have tried hard to catch one that big and finally accomplished it.

I love New England, mostly I'm sure because I no longer live there, but if any of you Huskies are considering a trip to Alaska just do it. I don't know any other way to say it.

My wife would like to go see Alaska, but it seems to fall low on my travel dreams. What makes it a "must see" if you're not a fisherman? What areas? (I am curious, but I'm sure there could be a lot to say, so just a brief answer would be interesting). And if Kaleb Joseph or dead horse beating gets highjacked, all the better.

Just because of the majesty and largeness of it all. Things that we think of as rare; giant mountains, glaciers, eagles, etc... are commonplace here. Plus if your already from NE, then you are used to mosquitoes.

If you are the toes in the hot sand type then this is not the place for you. If you can also appreciate the awesomeness of nature, beyond what we in the lower 48 can even comprehend then this is a must see. Hey a giant bull moose just trotted in front of the window as I type this, no ! Also be prepared for very very long days! That bothers some people, but golfing at midnight is cool as well.

The Kenai Peninsula is awesome! Denali is awe inspiring. Honestly SE Alaska you can get from British Columbia or Washington State in my opinion.

The reason we look down on you guys is because we won 17 Big East Titles and 3 National Championships while you won 1 Big East and ZERO NC's. You and FriarJ need to walk away. We are not rivals, just two local basketball programs. One is a powerhouse and one is a joke.

I think Ollie might need your help to tell this to Joseph, Abu, Terrell, and Chukwu. You could be UConn's secret weapon on the recruiting trail. I bet these kids would all flock to UConn once you let this type of tidbit out of the bag. As a matter of fact I think you should tweet this to all these kids right now.

One other tidbit that might be getting in your way though is while 17 BE championships (Is that right? That can't be right?) is very impressive there won't be anymore.

I was also insinuating that the current conference mess is not helping UConn in recruiting. That is just a feeling though, I'm sure some of you are wondering as well. If you take Louisville out of the equation the difference in recruiting so far (it's early) between the AAC and the BE is major with only you guys pulling in any consensus top 100 kids I think. Although you would expect Memphis to do well also.

Think 17 is combined regular and BET. 7 BET and 10 regular. Unlike the ACC the Big East counted both.

Obviously, as in any sales situation, one never rips his competitor. That's just one UConn fan who is not impressed with PC's past.
Also, I disagree with you that the current conference mess effects UConn's hoops recruiting. Proof is, since last season ended Ollie has landed two 5 star recruits. And, UConn's recruiting doesn't end with Chuckwu, Abu, Terell, and King.
We lead for 5 star PG Josh Perkins (#4PG) and Devin Robinson (#6pf) Also, the same guy who predicts Chuckwu to PC, predicts Abu to UConn. We are doing just fine in hoops recruiting.
Football recruiting will become another matter. It'll be hard to keep up with Rutgers in the B1G. Along with the ACC defectors.
