Did I miss something? Why didn’t he play?
Did Diarra get in the lane and score. He had 3 points.Considering how much he struggles against physical on ball defense this isn’t the game best suited for him. Much rather have Diarra out there and it was the right call given how Diarra was able to get into the lane and score.
Seton Hall had 40 points with 6 minutes left. Hard to understand how the commissioner thinks this is an attractive style of ball.Joey is going to have a really hard time getting minutes with the way the Big East refs let guards hand check and drape themselves all over offensive players.

Do you think Diarra played poorly?Did Diarra get in the lane and score. He had 3 points.
The officiating is so inconsistent.
You can absolutely maul Sanogo and you can hand check the crap out of Hawkins.
But neither of those two can stick out a hand or they will get whistled.
Refs left SH do whatever they wanted for most of the game…and then a switch flipped and Seton Hall started to get quick whistles. Not sure how players are supposed to play when the line moves so suddenly mid-game.
You thought Diarra's pounding the ball into the floor for 20-25 seconds only rush a last second shot was productive? Then he wasn't pounding the ball, Jackson was.Do you think Diarra played poorly?
He was a dog out there on defense once again. He deserved every minute he got today.

I don't know what to think about all this. A few years ago they said they would not impede movement any more and they would call these fouls. The officiating is so inconsistent.
