Before Davidson's return to Texas, he was Virginia Tech's Dir of Recruiting and Asst Dir of Player Personnel. In Blacksburg, Davidson promoted a "#TX2VT" social media campaign which attracted several Texans to sign with the Hokies.
Previously, Davidson coached with small TX and OK colleges, a TX CC, and with Houston area high schools.

I count 39 filled/open positions for the staff. Don’t know off the top of my head what we had in the Edsall 2.0 era, but just feels like a significant increase (10+ more).
Agreed, just looked at Bama's entire staff and it sits around 40 and I never remember hearing about all these positions before. It is a good sign we are invested in playing big boy football.
And some of these people are from schools like Texas Tech, Georgia Tech , and LSU
