I disagree. If you think Green is a max. player as a 4 I'd argue you know nothing about basketball.

I guess your point is that most people who write about basketball know nothing about the sport, given that you can google "Draymond Green max deal" and come up with a litany of professional sportswriters debating the topic.

But you're probably right, those professional writers know far less than the guy who'd take Jared Sullinger over Draymond Green.

We're in 2015. Name the 9 lottery.

Thabeet = major bust
Lamb = bust
Kemba = solid player, can't shoot so will never be an elite PG
Rudy = got max. deal at one point
Hilton = bust
AD = my bad, will be max. player, was awful at UConn, good that we can even be associated with him
CV = journeyman, made good $$ and loves UConn, a good ambassador. A bust as a 7 pick.
So out of the guys you mentioned we have 4 guys with very good NBA careers, 1 who has started rough but is still very young, and 2 "busts".

Good for him, but not UConn.

In the last 10 years UConn has not been relevant with getting guys to the NBA, a big factor for recruits.

Basically Rudy & Kemba. Beyond that not much to point to. Thabeet a top 5 bust of all time, Lamb a bust, Napier a likely bust. I guess right before then guys like BG, CV and Emeka have made a lot of time, albeit without much impact.

Hopefully going forward DHam, Adams, Larrier can get this going well again.

And the two busts are UConn success stories - guys who were nowhere close to NBA prospects coming in who we developed into lottery picks. If they didn't succeed at the next level, so be it, but it isn't like we took Felipe Lopez from the cover of SI coming out of high school to the Turkish League.

Your shtick is already old.

Will be interesting. He'll need to bore committed to defense than he's appeared to have in the past (small sample size) and I don't think he was well liked in OKC by the other guys, be interesting to see why happens here (speculation by friends in OKC)

.-.
i think it was pretty laughable that brooks doghoused him when he shot better and actually played better defense than waiters. now presti is out here clearing cap space to sign freaking kyle singler lol. really excited for lamb, i have a good feeling he'll prove a lot of doubters wrong. still owns a rep as an nba talent by alot of folks around the league.

The Waiters move was probably the most baffling NBA transaction of the entire year, and that's saying a lot. You got two of the best players in the world, and you're going to complement them with one of the worst spot-up shooters in the league, somebody who is not a good passer, and whose best skills are extremely redundant with his back court partner.

Then there's the part where he and Westbrook were out there in the latter half of the season free-styling on defense to the point where OKC devolved into one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

I still don't take anything you say seriously, nor do a considerable number of posters here. Your arguments are utter sheet.
Exactly, we don't know if Jeremy is a bust. But, also, anybody beyond delusion could look at UConn picks who have been perceived as overpaid as a plus. (Isn't that why undergrads choose Ivy's despite the cost?

just ignore the troll and his mindless banter. He hasn't a clue.

Hey, if this opportunity doesn't work out, he can always play in Serbia.

That would be fantastic, i'm moving there in August

Was he the guy someone thought was going to be better than Paul Milsap in the NBA?

.-.
I have watched a ton of Thunder games and I felt that Jeremy became a pawn in a power struggle between Brooks and Presti. At the end, he was receiving DNPs from Brooks even when it made no sense whatsoever. I am a firm believer that this kid can play, has a NBA skillset, and will find his niche. This move is perfect for him. I think he we do well.

Wow, burn. Look, Sammy averaged 14 points a game as a senior and had a very successful 13-game career with the Fort Wayne Ants.

You guys need to learn what a "bust" is. Ben Gordon was absolutely not a bust.

Agreed. No way can you consider Gordon to be a bust. You don't get second and third contracts like Gordon did if you're a bust.

Just because a player isn't a polarizing superstar doesn't make him a bust. You can just be a solid, good contributor to a team. Not everyone is Kobe or Lebron. Based on some of the logic on this thread, it seems there are only like 15 non-busts in the entire league.

The busts still sure do love their pay rates.

Mmm, maybe not. Watching this guy getting clubbed like a baby seal has been vaguely entertaining.

Yeah as of right now he is still a Thunder. He'll be gone involving some trade tonight.

Scratch that, JLamb still going to Charlotte... but instead traded for a future 2nd rounder.

Thank god, I was getting uneasy after your previous post. I can't take any more UConn related disappointment from this GM. After dangling the Shabazz/Kemba reunion in front of us at last year's draft, he better make this Lamb trade work.

I'm watching you, Cho.

.-.
MJ has obviously been watching video of the 2011 NC & has seen what a great duo Walker & Lamb are. You can't teach that kind of chemistry. Good move all around!

still not finalized. I saw a draft grade on espn, it then disappeared . not sure what is going on. maybe charlotte is exploring other options with ridnours contract in order to move up in the draft

great trade for both sides. I think lamb is worth more than an expiring + future second, but he is going to have to prove it. he's got a chance now.

This was always going to happen. Hornets wanted him before the trade deadline but the deal got too complicated and the price too steep. Everyone knew OKC would trade him in the offseason. MJ got his man for .70 cents on the dollar compared to the first offer. He's learning....

I've never seen an owner get the criticism and praise for every single move his team makes like with MJ. Do people still not realize Rich Cho is the one making the moves?
