January - Other Big East Games

Dependence on favorable officiating rarely translates well into March. Note Providence's anemic March performance under Cooley.
Announcer says yesterday basically, “great transfer players should want to play for Cooley or McDermit over anyone else”. I almost spit out my Frosted Flakes. Unbelievable.

Your PC hate is real....kinda funny. Last yr PC was lucky, this yr they get all the call....what will it be next season.

Bottom line, we beat
Bama
ISU
FL (in their building)
OR (in their state)

PC lost to
TCU
St Louis
Miami

So while we're trying to pull Big East teams off the bubble and into the dance, PC is our counterweight

Are those our guards playing for Gtown losing the ball with a chance to win?

now that the John Thompson coaching tree has finally withered and died after 70 years, would Gtown ever hire pitino? then once rick gets them back on the map they can hire his son.

Greg McDermott has the Danny Hurley anti-big man problem. King Jr. is the 6th best player on Creighton, and #7 doesn't matter, but King and Kalkbrenner are never on the court together.

McDermott is good, but I don't think he will get Creighton to be more than a perennial bubble team that occasionally sneaks into the Sweet 16. They are a little too low percentage in their shot selection.

As long as things go well tonight I may be interested in the other game of importance. friars are 7.5 dogs on the road at marquette. good.

Nova taking control late at MSG vs Johnnies in a rock fight. Not sure either team will score 55.

Dixon just got about 8 seconds in the middle of the paint and then the refs gave him a foul with 1 sec on the shot clock in a 1 possession game.
Fine, but wouldn't it be nice if we had someone able to do that?
