100% of UConn fans want him here but on this board, as in life, there are always people who want to be first and the loudest to complain and talk smack. I don't know why and I don't really care. People who are successful learn to tune them out, as I'm sure Akinjo has. He's a smart kid and talented player who will make a great Husky. I'm looking forward to watching him play here.

There are like an average of 10-20 nominees from each state (some states have 1, some like CA have more); it's not earth shattering but better to be listed than not. This is an Akinjo thread, so I'd expect this bit of news to be posted here.

He looks like a nice player. We need him. I hope he comes to UConn whoever the coach is. I'm not sure there is much more to be said really.

Anyone who thinks any decision has been made regarding Kevin Ollie as the coach next year is drinking crazy juice. He's the coach and under contract until he's not. And the "not" part isn't something the AD is going to decide without looking at the full body of work over the season, including the recruiting class coming in (which is pretty good).
