Again, Fishy doesn't need you to do his job for him. You can stop embarrassing yourself by constantly sucking up to him, and we'd all be better off for it.

Furthermore, given your posting history, I'm not taking any accusations of being "childish" or playing "games" seriously. It astonishes how much leeway you are given given the frequency of your hysterical temper tantrums.

100% of UConn fans want him here but on this board, as in life, there are always people who want to be first and the loudest to complain and talk smack. I don't know why and I don't really care. People who are successful learn to tune them out, as I'm sure Akinjo has. He's a smart kid and talented player who will make a great Husky. I'm looking forward to watching him play here.

My guess is he may have thought he was nominated to the McDonald's game. Any player in the top 500 hundred gets a McD's nomination, I was just pointing that out.

What article are you referring to?

Edited it to tweet. I don't think Guapo thought he'd been named a finalist or whatever (not sure they identify the finalists). There are like an average of 10-20 nominees from each state (some states have 1, some like CA have more); it's not earth shattering but better to be listed than not. This is an Akinjo thread, so I'd expect this bit of news to be posted here.

Thanks for clarifying, Akinjo was one of 30 players nominated from Cali.

Was just making sure he knew it wasn't for the game, nothing nefarious here.
 
He looks like a nice player. We need him. I hope he comes to UConn whoever the coach is. I'm not sure there is much more to be said really.

Anyone who thinks any decision has been made regarding Kevin Ollie as the coach next year is drinking crazy juice. He's the coach and under contract until he's not. And the "not" part isn't something the AD is going to decide without looking at the full body of work over the season, including the recruiting class coming in (which is pretty good).

Looking at that group - we've got talent.

I'm gonna go past that. Not gonna project, pontificate, anything. That's the ranked talent we have if Larrier and Adams come back. Only thing I'll say is... that's pretty good, right? That's not awful, right? That's better than most NCAA tournament teams................right?
