Does anyone know if he can come in spring semester like Karaban did? Their school year schedule is different than ours and read the school year ends in December.
I think we were number 1 or close to it for offensive rebounds the last 2 years. We had our guards crashing the boards. I know it was only an expedition game vs Rhody, but they rebounded us. Not good.My guess would the 7 footer we will have on the roster.
UConn out-rebounded URI 41-40. Until Tom Moore retires there is no need to ever worry about a UConn team rebounding, especially offensive reboundsI think we were number 1 or close to it for offensive rebounds the last 2 years. Time will tell.UConn out-rebounded URI 41-40. Until Tom Moore retires there is no need to ever worry about a UConn team rebounding, especially offensive rebounds
I don't know but I'll trust Hurley on this.Yeah but who’s going to rebound?
Factually, has several time zones. Furphy’s Tasmania is actually 15 hours ahead of EDT now (until EDT’s early Sunday morning fall back to EST; then 16 hour difference).Actually Australia is 13 hours ahead now, not 12 hours
Now up to a 198 cm tall righty, and growing by the Boneyard minuteHaven't heard it mentioned yet but let's not forget that he'll be a righty in the Northern Hemisphere.
Could be #152..........if it's the best class in the history of the sport...........They just made a page for him. If you click and view UConn’s class it shows him 152nd. Not sure if that will change. I agree that he’s certainly far better than 152nd regardless

Already out there, Chopper Furphy to the Big East or whichever opponentsNah seriously tho he’s gotta get a vid drop asap
From what I've seen online, there is a 15 hour differential between Hobart and EST time. It may be 3 hours if you're talking Hawaii and the OZ east coast. The date line is another factor.
I loved Australia, and tried not to factor in my American bias. Termed it "driving on the left" rather than the "wrong" side of the road.
Zagoria weighs in on Furphy at about 30:45. Says a few things we haven’t heard, including comps. I know we love comps .
You should subscribe to storrs central.Time will tell.
The kid is good, but it’s really hard to imagine where his minutes come from as a freshman. I’m sure he knows the vision.I swear one of their last videos was calling him a potential one and done and now they’re saying he’s not going to get off the bench next year.
Rebounding is nothing but effort, desire, and preparation. I don't expect to see any letdown in those areas under Hurley, so I doubt it will be a problemI think we were number 1 or close to it for offensive rebounds the last 2 years. Are we going to trust these 2 bozos or Dan Hurley, Kimani Young, and Luke Murray? I guess that's a rhetorical question.I swear one of their last videos was calling him a potential one and done and now they’re saying he’s not going to get off the bench next year.
Yes, that along with size, strength, and athleticism.Rebounding is nothing but effort, desire, and preparation. I don't expect to see any letdown in those areas under Hurley, so I doubt it will be a problem
I’m just more dumping on especially the one guy at sleepers, who clearly has no idea what he’s talking about but needs to fill a segment every time with confident nonsense. The kid is good, but it’s really hard to imagine where his minutes come from as a freshman. I’m sure he knows the vision.
