He'd be getting paid by an Italian team or drafted by an NBA team and stashed.
How does that have anything to do with MAL or Waters? This kid not being drafted now has what sort of relation to MAL and Waters?

can a booster have him for a home cooked authentic Italian meal? ;)

we do well with foreign players, maybe this is a good omen

I am currently in Italy, and the pizza I had at the convenience store at the train station in chiusi was better than anything I've had in quite a while (living in denver that doesn't say much, but it was still pretty good)

Do they still have Spizzico's everywhere?

Please tell me you are going to or have been to Montepulciano.

No, sorry. If he was really that great of a foreign player he would be signed, aside from MAL/TW comparisons.

Not necessarily, not every 17 year old is ready to turn professional, he may want a college education and a better shot at the NBA. In his case he seems a little skinny so he may need some physical development before he's ready.

If they don't bring Geno in to talk to this kid, I'll pack up Ollie's office for him.

That would seem to be a winning move.

Seems like a no brainer for sure.

We stopped there on the way to the train station. Didn't get to spend nearly as long as I wanted to there, but it's such a cool town. That and san gimignano were two of my favorite spots. We were at a wine tasting and the couple from Israel that we started talking with had just got engaged there

Yup. Haven't tried (don't really plan to) though

Yep, great wines in Montepulciano.

San Gimignano is cool, too. If you haven't already, see the movie Tea with Mussolini, most of which is filmed there.

Maybe his fav food is KFC and McD's? That's why he is coming to USA.

Really, at this point someone needs to reach out to Arby's to become the an official sponsor of the BY.

@August_West

Its sad to say but due to the current circumstances of UConn athletics (conference, low achievement, turmoil )

Arbys brand > UConn brand.

Arbys is a P5 level brand.

I'd love for UConn to land this kid - but our Italian pipeline dried up the moment that Patoni kiln exploded.

I actually went to one last month. The entire operation was a cluster and the food sucked. It was so bad I can't even agree with you ironically. This article may be a bit dated, but it wasn't wrong when it said, "As I scoured the menu...I had difficulty identifying anything that had gone through less processing than uranium."

One man's processing is another man's #meatcraft.
