OC is money from mid-range. He needs to concentrate on hitting jumpers from mid-range rather then settling for the 3

I like what I see from both although just when I am ready to say Sam Jr will eventually lose his minutes he plays a nice game. Omar is scrappy, can rebound a little and make a shot no doubt. But Sam, although not speedy, gets to spots, passes the ball well and can make shots - very smart player. Both will have their days as this season moves forward.

OC career has been very disappointing and i really hope he has a memorable Sr. year and goes out a winner because the kid deserves it. When guys were transferring out because of the issues we had he stuck with this program and that meant and still means a lot in my eyes. If it werent for the disappointing injuries i have no doubt he`d wouldve had a solid run here. I hope he has a healthy season first and foremost and hope he plays well.

Omar is a decent mid-range shooter and has developed a good floater. He has above average athleticism, has decent defensive fundamentals & is a pretty good rebounder.

I would like to see him quit trying to be a three-point specialist and concentrate on helping the team with the better aspects of his game.

Sam Jr. is a better ball-handler and passer than Omar. As Coach Ollie has pointed out, he has put out a much better effort on defense, but still struggles to stay in front of quicker opponents. Both should see minutes, who gets more will depend upon the team's needs at that time.

IMHO, neither should be jacking threes early in the shot clock.

Very well said.

This is exactly what OC should be doing. I remember at some point last season he showed the ability to do damage with mid-range shots.
