How old are you?

18, looks like I'm definitely near the bottom of the posting ages at least, guess I'm just really excited to be a husky.

Half a century. Still feel like I'm in my 20s but my joints should receive social security!

.-.
For how long?

5 years. 55 now but everywhere I go I say I'm a senior to get the secret discounts some huge. I actually was doing that in my 40s since the teens behind the counter think anyone over 45 is 80 anyways. Movies are $5, golf is $30, IHOP gives me $5 breakfasts, Dunkin Donuts discounts, etc.....

errrhhm...not so much. Ralph Macchio disease perhaps. Coincidentaly, I'll be attending an 80's party this weekend dressed as the Karate Kid himself. I will partake in significantly less than "good clean livin'".

The All Valley Tourney Daniel-San
or
The Halloween Party Shower Curtain Daniel?

Born a few months before Jackie started with the Dodgers. Got to see Willie, Mickey and the Duke in person; was big Giants fan. That was a long way to center field at the Polo Grounds.

Do bars honor these discounts? Are they for 50 and over or just "senior" whatever the hell that is. If I start asking for senior discounts I will banish myself to the women's board.

@ericsandiego:

Thanks. Pretty much the identical profile to me. Good luck. Think I'll try going back to running 4-5 days a week, cutting out mid-week booze , and eating sensibly during the week. That's what has worked best for me before, but I'm always looking for a nice kick-start to re-engergize me.

I started today with a breakfast that Lance Armstrong would approve of. I had a lunch that would make a Biggest Loser trainer proud. About 10 minutes after I finished eating my phone rang, we are going out for dinner and drinks. I thought, "well there goes my diet for today". Just them my buddy in the office down the hall yells "bagels and stuff in the kitchen". Half a donut, half a cinnamon roll and one .5lb cinnamon scone later I am considering going home at 2 just to take a run and lift some weights.

won't say but you're not at the very bottom.

37. today actually. look like 22 though.

First, happy birthday.

Second, no duck*ing way would I have guessed that you were 37. Your cell phone looks 37, but you don't.

I wish they never wrecked that stadium.

Almost 40 here.

First, happy birthday.

Second, no fun-hating way would I have guessed that you were 37. Your cell phone looks 37, but you don't.

Cheers. Well, since you mentioned cell phones, I'm finally moving into the smart phone market with the Samsung Galaxy 4s mini. As you have or have tried every known smart phone in the free world, what do you think?

Going for just north of $500 I think. No contract. Bad value.

23 but i act like i'm 23....

I'm calling bullsh!t. You are far too analytic to be 23. Surely you lost more brain cells in college than you have displayed. Pretty sure it takes 5+ years post college to get back to 'normal'.

Lol. How about a friends 38.5 birthday party in Boston. No lie. How bored is that guy with married life?

edit: whoops. misread. I'm going as wax-on-wax-off-daniel-san. Spitting image of this right down to the old pumas (including bruise, minus hoodie tied to waste):

I was sorely tempted not to buy this shirt though:

I thought the confusion of the headband and shirt would throw people off the scent. And I wasn't going as Put-em-in-a-body-bag-Johnny! cause I didn't want to wear a Karategi or dress up like a ghost (too hard).

Ahhh, the future. I'm misty over here.

Happy Bday man......now grow up and quit causing a stir on the women's board!

Some uptight wankers there to be sure. I do NOT know how Nan does it. Patience of a Saint.

Happy Birthday! You'll appreciate the younger looks as you get into the next 2 decades! I do!

Gotta lower your testosterone count bro. Those are Nan's (paraphrased) words, not mine.

And then you got your blood oxygenated by your local race doctor, no? How to feel 20 again.

What do you think of Insanity so far? What type of shape were you in before and have you noticed much change in the first month?

I'm pretty much a classic yo-yo dieter and exerciser and I'm looking for my next obsession to get me back on the upswing, but I'm concerned that it may be too intense for where I'm at right now (20-30 lbs overweight; running 4 miles a couple days a week and needing to boost that back up to 4-5 days per week in order to start moving in the right direction again).
Just an fyi, I was up and down too, but I lost 20 pounds a year ago on the "17 day diet" and by following it (no carbs after 2:00pm etc. )have kept them off - I'm down to my college weight (165). Spin 3 times/week and weights 3 times/week. Boy do I miss nachos....
