Don't answer that. Was this poll option left off on purpose ?

My position is that Dan Hurley is the only coach that I would fire KO for. Firing KO will cause an exodus of player from the program (especially with new transfer rules) which would send the program further into the black hole of non-competativeness, and I would rather give KO 1 more year because if we do fire him we will be worse in 2018/19, might as well give him a shot. I would however tolerate the rebuild if the man leading it is Dan Hurley.
I think Akinjo is the real deal, not tre young level but good enough with gilbert, vital, and company to lead us back to the tourney. Losing KO almost certainly means losing Akinjo and a lot more, the next coach would have no roster and it would likely be 2 years (if optimistic) just to get a real roster. I think that’s something that’s being over looked by the fire Ollie crowd. We won’t get better this year, next year, or the year after that by firing KO.you dont think the way this team has performed will scare them anyway?
I think "likes" are the most underrated criteria when assessing a posters inherent talents. Just like in life the more people that like you the more money and success you have. This isn't rocket science/Einsteinesque stuff here. JMHO545 posts & 545 Likes

Insightful, analytical posts rarely get more likes than a content-free cheerleading post.

It’s doesnt take 4 yrs to rebuildNew coach and staff, a teardown and rebuild from scratch, 4 year process.
I'm in great shape then.I can't believe anyone even keeps track of that stuff. I would argue that you want to be below 1:1. The average person on this board is a dope. You want more of these monkeys to disagree with you than agree.
It takes 2 full seasons to rebuild usually in CBB, but why fire a coach and rebuild again when you’re already in year 2 of a rebuild. Firing Ollie this year makes 0 logistical sense, if we struggle next year I’ll be the first to call for Ollie to be gone. But dysfunctional programs and pro teams make the mistake of firing coaches too soon and being stuck in the eternal rebuild. Heck even the Browns are giving Hue Jackson one more year. Turnover at the coaching level is the number one thing that keeps programs irrelevant, we have to at least give KO the 2 years needed to rebuild. It’s doesnt take 4 yrs to rebuild
To be sure, some people game the system by being unpleasant and wrong headed.I can't believe anyone even keeps track of that stuff. I would argue that you want to be below 1:1. The average person on this board is a dope. You want more of these monkeys to disagree with you than agree.
What team have you been watching this year? We stuggled against Stoney brook and Columbia and have had our doors blown off more times in program history. It really can’t get much worse...My position is that Dan Hurley is the only coach that I would fire KO for. Stop being dramatic this team is bad, but you know what would be worse is if we fired KO and lost half the roster to transfers. The new coach won’t be able to salvage a decent team recruiting in the 2018 class, because by that point most impact kids would be signed. If that happens count the 2019 season over before it starts, also the new coach would be behind on the 2019 recruiting front. Count out essentially every kid we’re in on we would have to start over with the whole class. Best case scenario if the coach can recruit we would have a team full of freshman and transfers for the 2020, just like this year. So the fire KO crowd is looking at the 2021 season before we have a team that can compete again. Does this sound like a better or worse scenario than we are currently in with KO if we allow him to try and turn it around next year with a team that has sophomores Carlton, Polley, and Whaley with shooters coming in Akinjo and Williams. What team have you been watching this year? There have been more losses by 20 points or more this season than in any other season in the history of the program. That is a fact. And you are concerned about the fallout that would result from a coaching change?
Yeah, we will take our lumps for a couple of years. But if we hire the right coach and give him the support he needs, we should go back to being respectable, competitive and relevant. Leaving things as they are will very likely result in similar results to what we have seen the past two seasons. That really can't be that hard for you to see.
That depends on the level of coach. The right guy could maintain the incoming kids and keep the current guys in place. That would make it a 2 year process.New coach and staff, a teardown and rebuild from scratch, 4 year process.
