Hines commits!!

Baby Shaq! Lets go!!!!

As good as Tarris Reed was, this team has missed a rim runner. Hopefully Najai can provide that.

Hines football scholarships to West Virginia and South Carolina. Landrew football scholarship to Bama.
I was going to post this. Hurley seems to love guys who played football. He recently mentioned that Demary was a warrior and part of that is from his father who played football. Demary gave up football to concentrate on basketball.

As a high school tight end in North Carolina, Hines drew football scholarship offers from South Carolina, West Virginia, and Houston.

I figured this was coming. If you're Hines you see what UConn did with Tarris Reed, and all the other centers the last few years, and figure that's me next. Pretty easy sell.
I know Hurley has been hesitant to take kids from other BE teams, but I am glad he looked past that here. Hines was perfect for us, and our staff saw what he can do in league play already.

McGeever, C

Silas Mullins Landrew Nik Hines
Wilkins, Ball, County, Ross, Stewart

Ball and Wilkins aren’t coming off the bench for anyone, doubt McKeever wants to either

If our team next year is:
Silas
Solo
Braylon
Khamenia
Hines

Wilkins
Landrew
Ross
Stewart
Any 5

That team is stacked. That team is also a bunch of guys I really like, just looking at it from afar. That team has a lot of shot making, some shot creation, some excellent athleticism and defensive potential ... I'd be VERY excited with a portal haul of Wilkins, Khamenia, Hines and a backup big.

During the season there were two Big East players with eligibility I wanted UConn to get involved with, Hines and Ruben Prey. Obviously Hines was #1.

I think we're getting Khamenia too. Hurley is again targeting young studs with multiple years of eligibility in the portal who will join our final 4/title game veterans while other schools are getting one year rentals. He's just better at all this stuff than anyone else in the country.

Couldn't have asked for a better Taris replacement. He's obviously not as offensively skilled as Tarris, but an even trade or level up on other things.
